Dues must be paid...he's probably a couple of wins away from quadrupuling his purse, at the very least.

Only a handful of people truly know. Many know what his purses are and some seem to forget about his low guarantees.

This might be why it best for him to cash in on a unification with Wlad. He could demand a few million here and it'd sell because its a unification. He can take Wilder as his mandatory and probably gets past him with a KO..but you never know he could get chicken feed and get KO'd if Wilder does get a bomb on his chin. Wlad will at least pay him much better for taking his belt. And if just somehow he can get past Wlad and be undesputed then he's set for life! (in fact he should be with a Wlad fight either way). It could even go PPV in the US&A!!

I thought that WBA is the oldest. But either way, in reality he is just a minor titleholder, regardless of which belt he holds and of course he can't expect a champion treatment, because he is a contender and not a champ. I also believe that Klitschko will do anything to take the last belt, and Stiverne will probably earn a couple of millions for that fight, but he cant expect to earn enormous money by fighting other contenders because he still isn't among the biggest names in the division.

I sure enjoyed the Arreola/Stiverne fight much better than the FMJ fight, so they both should have gotten paid more on that alone.

They said during the fight this was the same belt that Ali, Foreman, Frazier, etc had owned...

All non HW belts are basically 'paper' belts. Let's call non HW fights what they are, a sideshow.

He'll start making more now. Not much of a following prior to the fight and fighting for a vacant title. Most fighters have to pay their dues before making big bucks, and a bunch never make it to the big bucks.
