Is anyone actually a Bermane Stiverne fan??? Like I can't really see anyone buying Stiverne merchandise and getting a tattoo of his face

I’ve seen David Price’s name mentioned and he literally never has been credible.

Dereck Chisora has been a journeyman for his entire career, his only “meaningful” win was a Brit stoppage over Malik Scott (the ref counted 10 literally while the man was on his feet standing in front of him), yet in the UK he’s practically revered.

For his initial comeback fight, Brits will accept whomever they put in front of Tyson as being meaningful. “Former WBC champion” alone carries more weight than anything Price or Chisora have ever done.

Prices name mentioned in what respect?

For a journeyman wilder was quick to duck chisora, may be a journeyman in you estimation but not a wino from the alley like a wilder opponent

The wbc title at heavyweight has been a farce for almost 6 years, only bums have been allowed fight for it. The British title has more prestige at this stage

How exactly did Wilder duck Chisora? Because a British promoter announced a fight when there was no contract or agreement in place, it’s on Wilder?

LOL. Look, I know you have to pretend beating Chisora (who lost yet AGAIN last weekend) is meaningful because a highly disputed split decision over him is the only thing on Dillian Whyte’s resume, but Dereck has never been more than a mid-level domestic heavyweight on the Brit level ... Chisora literally needed a referee to count “10” on a man who was obviously on his feet standing rightin front of him to claim a victory over a meaningful fighter ... but now you’re just being silly.

Nope wilder was given the offer to fight chisora when he was well ranked. Wilder said he couldn't fight in the UK due to visa issues because of a battery charge, if that was true fair enough.
But it proved to be a lie when he turned up in the UK a few weeks later to soar haye, blanant lie, he ducked chisora

You mean whyte who wilder also refuses to fight for a record payday?lol

when you run wyhte and chisora down you shoulder realise who pathetic it makes wilder look who has ducked these fighters

    This is getting comical.

Wilder sparred David Haye in September of 2013. The battery charge was in May of that year, four months earlier, and had been dropped by that time.

There was never any deal to fight Chisora, they were looking at a contract offer when a British promoter (Frank Warren) went ahead and announced the fight despite Golden Boy telling him four times in email “DO NOT ANNOUNCE THIS, WE DO NOT HAVE A DEAL.” That was in early May, right after Wilder was charged but before the charges were dismissed because there was no case. So for a short period of time, he could not leave the U.S., which is customary when someone is charged. That did not prevent him from traveling to the UK four months later, obviously, after the entire matter had been dropped.

But that doesn’t fit your narrative.

    It was
He would have been scheduled to fight in September against chisora, he said he had visa issues, then a week or two later after visa issues he turns up to spar haye

Thanks for confirming that the issues were cleared by then and wilder just lied to avoid chisora.

And there was a case he battered a hooker and paid her off to drop the charges, Jesus you don't just defend wilders poor boxing record you also defined his criminal record, impressive

The offer was still on the table to for the chisora fight, he ducked chisora and was siting visa issues all the way along

Umm, you’re talking Chisora and want to bring up criminal past?

Wilder’s charges were dropped. Have you got any evidence other than your own whim that (a) there was a hooker involved (b) that the alleged victim was paid off or (c) that Wilder was actually guilty of anything? No, you don’t.

There was no date for a Wilder-Chisora fight because there was never an agreement for a fight. Period. A contract was offered around May of that year. It had not been accepted at the time the promoter announced it — despite Golden Boy emailing him WE DO NOT HAVE A DEAL DO NOT ANNOUNCE THE FIGHT. Wilder’s charge (later dismissed) came at the same time and his status for travel was not clear at that point because the charges had just been made and had not been resolved ... so he could not, at that time, commit to travel outside the U.S. By the time he went to spar they had been resolved. Are you really that thick?

Your hatred of Wilder is off the scales. Trying to have a discussion with someone who continually makes up stuff is a waste of time.

Why waste our time with WBC eliminator. Let's just go directly to Wilder/Stiverne III.

I, too, would drag my overweight, lazy rear to a boxing venue and take a KO for a cool mil or so- as often as people would pay me. It would beat trying to earn my keep.

I agree with everyone who has pointed out the complete BS lack of effort. Bad for the sport.

He’s just trying to reel us all in for the Wilder v Stiverne no 3 lol.
We know how it goes by now, wait six months end up no 2 WBC rankings,Wilder declares he doesn’t want the fight and calls out Wlad Klitschko to George Foreman only to fight Stiverne again anyway.
Stop me if this sounds a little far fetched.
