:good:good:good:good:good:good By the way, Vitali TKO 8 after a long, boring one-sided, beatdown. That fat motha****a can't box for ****. But if Vitali signs him, every Klit fan in the world will try to sing his praises and point out how much better of a fight he would be then Haye. :deal
Stiverne is so sure of his ability that he refuses to even take a tune up B4 his mandate. Almost a half dozen top 100 guys have sent him offers, and one was supposed to be like 100K. If I were him, I think might have tried to get it on with Julius Long, or another giant tomato can b4 my big payday. Then again.......one lucky punch from a guy like Grant, and there goes Bermaines title shot.
i mean...Demetrice King...Demetrice ****ING King who had 11 wins and 15 losses KNOCKED this clown out....he couldnt even beat a guy named charles davis...who was 17 wins 17 losses...he had a draw with him in 2009..fought 1 time in 2010 against a guy with 31 losses ...fought an undefeated bum of 20-0 this year and beat Austin was coming off a loss to solis....now he is fighting Vitali? hopefully he fights him by decemember...no point in stretching this crap out
Of course he's not gonna take a tune up. He's in the seat, and knows (or DK knows) that by taking a tune up he could easily lose that seat if he lost (likely). It's a stupid move.
Well i'm not disputing the fact that Stivern is C level fighter and has no buisness in the same ring with Vitaly but he was not knocked out by King, he was doing well untill the stupid stoppage which was one of the worst i've seen in my life.
Thought you said he wansn't quitting in the thread I started a few days ago? Chef, you know the man and I am just a fan, but I can't believe he is going to quit now. Every fight he fights at 40 is an event, almost unparealled accept for the Foreman years. He has an opportunity to leave not jsut a winning legacy, or even a chamionship legacy, but to do something remarkable. And when he is winning this easily, why not?
