I think Stiverne will put up a better performance against Wilder.

I think Stiverne will take a lot of confidence away from seeing Wilder struggle against a few weak opponents since their last fight.

Stiverne does look focused and motivated for the rematch.

He is been training with Ali Bashir and has been sparring with Vlad Sirenko. Sirenko looks better than Wilder, at least going by punching technique and skill.

I also think Stiverne can take more away from their last fight than Wilder can.

Wilder has became arrogant and overconfident since their last fight. Stiverne might surprise him.

Stiverne is obviously the most durable out of all of Wilder's opponents, and does have enough power to stop Wilder.

    Sorry.

Stiverne was outclassed the first time and Wilder is not my definition of class.

I think it is worse for Stiverne.

When did we ever see a better Stiverne performance? That's him. WYSIWYG.

That AJ payday is a great motivator and he's on record saying he wants AJ next if he beats Bum Squad.

That AJ payday has everyone but Pulev scary ass going at him. If I was Wilder I would just double book fights if Hearn guaranteed me a Joshua set up.
Stivern, Whyte, Joshua. What's that about close to $25 million in collective prize money. He not getting that over here.
I like Wilder but he is making the same mistakes Broner and Quillin did.

    1) Stiverne is a total sucker for the jab.
    2) You can make a good case for him not having a single win in almost 3.5 years.
    3) He's been inactive for the last 2 years.
    4) He'll be 39 when facing Wilder again.

All in all pretty unlikely he will do better than the fist time around.
Stiverne vs Oquendo might actually be a toss-up right now.

He could put in a better performance but then he could hardly put a worse one in. He supposedly had rhabdomyolysis in the first fight, which if true would of greatly effected his performance. But it also suggests his preparation as rumoured before was not ideal and he must have injured himself at some point leading to the rhabdomyolysis, probably over exerting himself in a rushed attempt to shed all the excess weight he had gained.

Despite that effecting his last performance, nothing I have seen suggests we will see a significantly improved Stiverne. What training footage I have seen, he's looked slow and lack lustre and as expected out of shape. Stiverne doesn't have the hunger or desire to succeed.

Criticize Wilder all you want but at least he's professional enough to always show up in good condition, in this era of overweight heavyweights that alone can separate you from 95% of the division and put you on another level.

Only way I see Stiverne winning is if Wilder underestimates Stiverne. He played it safe last time round, boxing and moving, making the shorter counter puncher chase him. If he tries to trade with Stiverne and looks to take him out and impress then he could get countered and improve Stiverne's chances.

I think it's funny how this rematch came into play. It's like a damn golden gift presented to Stiverne, but he has not the will to do the job. He is a decent hard hitter - if Donkey's chin was bad as yall say he'd KO the fool. But, I am pretty sure this time Burger Stiverne will prolly get dropped and maybe tko'd. He has a pretty damn good chin though. I wish he'd shake things up early and get a droppage in Worm fashion for this one.

At least he's been training and what's even better he's been training for this fight. And let's be honest, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Wilder wouldn't also get dropped by Rossy.

Stiv is 40 isnt he? he should even be in the ring at what should be world level.

He was a transient , short term title holder even when he had a title.

It would be great if he knocked wilder out cold and got the big payday against aj and to see the look on wilder face would be epic but it's not gonna happen
