Look Maidana could not had won that fight if he himself had hand picked a ref because he came in thinking he would outbox the best boxer at 147-154 today:patsch.

I did not enjoy the crying, elbows, the telling ref to stop and call time over a bite:huh or the running man show ( at least his legs are still fit) from Floyd.

I did not like the lack luster approach from Maidana.

I hated the frequent breaks from the ref. Ref acted too quickly take a point without a warning on Maidana but turning blind eyes to Floyd's crap.
Would call a break before a Money hug was in place and still break them when they both still had a free hand to punch out so why do I say Maidana stock is up and Floyd's went down?

Simple, Maidana will still rock and roll anybody at 147 and he is one of two guys to ever have Floyd question his first encounter sooooo much that he just had to face them one more time. Maidana will bounce back and crush his way through more guys but only if he goes back to his more aggressive style.

Maidana is overrated as ****. Put him in with Alexander again and he'll still lose. That first Mayweather fight wasn't even that close. Thurman wrecks him hence why maidana ducked thurman. ****, I wouldn't be surprised if Khan beats him in a rematch too.

People talk about his transformation after joining Garcia but its BS.

I think Robert Garcia seems like a really cool guy and all but damn is he overrated as a trainer especially with Maidana. All he did was get Maidana to set up his punches with the jab better.

Maidana is a crude, slow fighter who has power. Thats all hes ever been.

Unsure about the fact that Maidana's stock went up...

I believe both fighters stock dropped from that fight.

Maidana is still, and always will be, a class B-C boxer. He has no skills and no power. He'll get beat by anyone else in the division. After all, he's just a Khan and Alexander leftover.

Floyd did not question himself. He decided to stay on rope made it exciting. And then saw an EZ pay day to help the contract for no risk at all.

The only thing that went up for MM was his rep as a dirty fighter
