Here we go again: Primetime are showing Pacquiao/Marquez so people complain and scream abuse. Then don't buy it. Yes, it cost £15, but that's the way it is. People have had enough notice and therefore can save up the money. Take it easy the weekend before and have a blow-out for the fight. Some may be aggrieved at the quality of the production or the fight card. Then don't buy it. Why buy something you don't want? But please stop all this repetitive whining. With today's media platforms we are very privileged. We get to see fights big and small from all over the globe. I think people forget how lucky we are. It's a shame. The more people get, the more they want. Pacquiao/Marquez is £15 on Primetime Khan/Peterson might be £15 on Primetime or SKY Box Office. Book early and enjoy the event. You also have the option not to buy. Don't abuse and insult those providing the entertainment.
Doesn't make it any better though really, does it? And people complain because it would usually be free on Sky and Primetime wade in and stick it on ppv to take advantage of boxing fans that want to see it which is a ****s trick
**** off noob, ppv is a problem in boxing that is really bad for the sport look at the last 2 ppv's in north america, fights ended with sucker punches and a supposedly dislocated shoulder from a known injury faker, the younger generation have no interest in boxing anymore in 20 years time its going to be tough for the sport to find stars
Whining does **** all though, pull your Sky subscription or write to them and tell them what you're unhappy about. If you don't want to pay PPV, don't.
Unfortunately that's the way it is. People can't keep complaining every time Primetime announce a fight. We now have to accept it. There are plenty of great fights on other sports channels. One channel cannot show all the fights we are getting. Maybe without Primetime we wouldn't get certain fights. Without SKY Box Office we may have missed out on previous bouts.
I've never had a problem paying for fights...I mean over the last 10-15 years think about how many fights we missed from other countries. I am just happy to get them to be honest Now having said that....if Primetime really want the PPV money I think we should get a decent commentary team...I think the average bloke on ESB would do a better job quite honestly...& there are some delusional folk on here :S
We need to see Primetime fights as a bonus - a special treat even. Do people really want to be paying another subscription fee? Does anyone know why ESPN never got into boxing?
Ive just cancelled my sky sports and I don't but Primetime PPV's. I aint gonna give them a load of ****, they are just trying to make money, its business and nothing else. I just go to the nearest kebab shop to watch it instead
none of the other sports have ever really embraced ppv. even football eventually dumped the idea. it's just boxing fans that have to keep paying. very frustrating. promoter greed that's what it is. :verysad
£15 is too much. £70 a month for two fights in that timeframe is too much. £10 is pretty damn fair. PT is a rip-off, offering poor service and quality.
Yeah, if Primetime hadn't thrown their weight in then I'm pretty certain that Mayweather-Ortiz and Pacquiao-Marquez would never even have happened.
