No, seriously. If it's the way forward then why aren't people using it? Why aren't sprinters and NFL players balancing on bosu ***** and jogging on vertical treadmills instead of lifting evil weights? It's been 20 years, surely there's something in the scientific literature to back up your special method of training that all these PHD's and lifetime coaches are too dumb to have any awareness of..? I don't know what you're laughing at.
There is tests to back it up, and still being tested. Some are so obvious], it tickles me, that people didnt get it at 1st. Money never has been a thing with me, loving what i do. I asked you in another thread, what it did, you hadnt a clue. People working on the project, say it is changing there concept., of sports fitness. Two main things that it improves are Cardio and CNS simply by changing gravitational influence, and envirement if you understand. floor doesnt move you, you move the floor, amazing what it does for myelin production. :yep
It really is fascinating :nut. Plus keep adding to it. Another 2 years all the testing should be completed.
I would have folded to your argument had there been no evidence which you didn't address. Ruslan Provodnikov after training with this dude for his last camp said it was the best conditioning training he's ever done, as in he's never felt and performed the way he did before, he was so satisfied with the work Nick did with him that after the fight with Lucas, even though he lost, he gave Nick a bonus. Also Ruslan's camp was saying that it was the best Ruslan has ever looked in sparring. Donnie Nietes also has publicly praised this approach. http://www.philstar.com/sports/2014/05/15/1323326/ala-cites-curson-nietes-win It's not like these are just words with no results. There are elite athletes succeeding using this approach in training. Now I won't move to LA to train with this guy ( I think he offers classes to the public ) but he does have a dvd out, so I plan on testing it out for myself.
You win. Undeniable evidence. A guy trained with this guy, lost his fight, but he said he felt good. Therefor deadlifts = bad. I understand now. /thread.
If this was true, then how can a lightening strike snap your bone in half? How much does lightening weigh?
A lightening strike can cause your muscles and tendons to tense so hard, that it can cause your arm to snap in half. I'm not saying that deadlifts are bad. As a matter of fact, I would say if a person only does one conventional weightlifting technique, they should do the hex bar deadlift. I'm just saying that it's not that simple. Tension is what causes strength. Tension is the activation of muscle fibers. Lightening can activate enough muscle fibers and make them tense so hard, that they can snap your bones in half. The workouts that were shown in the above posts appeared to utilize Russian Isokinetic machines. Honestly, I don't know much about them, but many athletes use them. Maybe there is something to them. As someone who studies sports science, you should always try to progress. If you can get the same results with these machines that you can with conventional lifting, but with less risk of injury, why not use them?
So you're comparing stimulating muscles through weight training and overloading them with electricity? What you're saying is irrelevant. We all know muscles contract through electrical impulses and overloading those impulses i.e. being electrocuted, can cause serious issues. So what?
That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that tension is strength. Tension is neurological. That means, it is stimulated through your nervous system. Do you know anything about Russian Isokinetic machines? If not, your best bet would be to claim ignorance and not to stand by your uneducated dogma. The fact is, you know nothing about those machines. When you do, then you can speak as if what you say are facts. I don't expect dealt with to respond to this either. If he does, in an educated way, I'll respect him. I don't expect him to.
We all know this... What uneducated dogma is that, the fact that muscles contract under electrical impulses? I've never heard of these machines, I have no problem saying that. Again, all I've said are muscle contract through electrical impulses...
I wouldn't say it's uneducated because you have been educated, but you do not know everything, thus, by definition, you would be uneducated in reference to Russian Isokinetic machines. I just don't think it's prudent to laugh at that kid who posted those videos when neither you nor dealt with know what those machines are capable of.
