No, the source is Matthew Hatton stating publically that his promotion team have been contacted on three occasions by GBP about a fight with Mayweather and that his manager was told that Hatton is top of their list of opponent.

Best to check your facts before telling other people that theirs are wrong?

WTF does that have to do with him trying to get a fight against a guy like Mayeather? has nothing to do with "respecting" him as a fighter...its that as a fighter, hes fought no one of note.....have you seen his opponents after 41 fights? biggest name on there period is 47-11 Lovemore Ndou and he had a draw with him. so no one wants to see any elite fighter at this stage in their career waste a fight on a guy who beats on chumps and still manages to lose to nobodies
