His really only true loss was against williams and even paul went through hell, margarito proved that he is a better fighter at this stage, than oscar, mosley, judah and cotto. If baldomir coul land 99 punches on floyd and floyd showed he doesn't like pressure in the de la hoya fight,so imagine how uncomfortable he would be,if he fought margarito.Floyd won't let his hands go like cotto did and because of that, floyd would be on his bike all night, and he would just use up alot of his legs.Floyd would be too busy defending himself, kinda like 6 heads lewis did and i vision margarito backing him up against the ropes and landing a flush shot and knocking floyd out.
Really so floyd just uses his legs as defense atsch  and floyd is no better then 6 head Lewis  by the way 99 punches is horrible for a 12 round fight
Thats what I was thinking when I read that. Floyd held him to under 10 lands a round and this is a bad thing why????? atsch
I think Floyd would be the favourite but i'd be rooting for Margarito. Think it'd be a really intriguing fight.
I think what he's saying is if old man Baldomir could find a way to land 99 punches Margarito will land more. And what did it take to beat Cotto, 200? Or somewhere around there.
One thing to keep in mind. I'm not saying Mayweather is of another class then Cotto, Mosley or Margo because I don't think he is. But the punches landed on Cotto are different (for the most part) then the ones he will land on Mayweather. He will be more off balance when throwing due to Mayweather's movement and they won't land "as clean" due to Mayweathers superior defense. After Saturday I feel a Margarito victory is definitely possible but he will have a much harder time finding Floyd then he did Cotto.
Wouldn't be the first time. I don't think he really cares if it ends in a knockout or a points win. Although I'd be mega pissed if Mayweather got the benefit of every close round.
He would be the one that looks more in control because he just always looks composed as he sits back and rolls with the punches so it very well might go that route. Also he is Floyd Mayweather so it's just a preconcieved notion that he should be the one winning. Just saying why he may get the benefit of the doubt. I for one want to see this fight now above all else.
