Stop hating and give khan his props

I was definitely one of Khan haters and gave him a ton of **** for his chin. But after the guts and heart he displayed in the Maidana fight, I'm now officially a fan. Great young lad and an asset to the sport. I hope his future his bright.

But the main issue here is the khan hype really lived up to itself. That fight showed how the combination of glass-chin and feather-fist is a disaster waiting to happen. It would've been acceptable if Khan hadn't sold himself as the other one to beat Floyd, or he's at Pac's level. That fight showed that Khan-hype is just that, a hype.

 

Khan's never gonna get his props from some people.

Even if he cleaned out the 140 division and then moved up to 147 and 154 and beat big names there too... there would still be people bringing up Prescott and trying to discredit his opponent.

Some people just hate a fighter no matter what...

 

Exactly. He'd pick Prescott apart in a rematch. And we don't need to see the fight to know that he would. It's like the same *****s who are convinced that Marquez would actually beat a Prime Pac of today.

Can Marquez beat Cotto? NO!
Can Marquez beat Clottey? NO!
Can Marquez beat Margarito? NO!
Can Marquez beat Hatton? Maybe, but probably not!
Can Marquez beat ODLH? NO!

 

Firstly no one that drops (and almost finishes) a guy like Maidana in the first round is "featherfisted", secondly...

How are people giving such "Props" to Khan? He was the champ and in the Championship Rounds, he was beaten. he did great in the first couple of rounds, no doubt. But the fight wasn't 6 rounds.

He took a lot of punishment in the later rounds and I dont care what you say, Cortez should've stopped the Fight. Khan now talks he wants to fight Mayweather? Is he out of his mind. It's just a shame that boxing fans are truly rooting for this guy only cause he's on Pac's Team.

Maidana deserves a Re-match. And if Khan is so good, he woulda dropped this guy. When u put the pressure on a guy and drop him like he did, why let up? He coulda put him away...u know why he didnt? cause he's really not that good...get off Pac's balls guy, this guy is another Ricky Hatton.

 

I give props to Khan. But gave more props to Maidana for coming back after that brutal body shot. I would love to see both of them again in HBO. Maybe Maidana Marquez fight. But Im became a fan of Khan after this fight.

 

Khan proved that he can run away when he is in trouble, he is lucky that Maidana is so slow because if Maidana had the speed he stops Khan in that 10th. Does he have a chin? Maybe a little but it is a fragile one.

His defense is terrible though, all he does is cover up and skip around, a boxer with speed and punching accuracy will tear him apart. Khan needs to stop talking about fighting Floyd because he would get his ass schooled big time.
