This is the core of my issue with it As a one off I'd possibly buckle, but the precedent it could set is very worrying EVERY Khan fight would then be PPV not to mention other fights in the future Made my mind up for sure. Not buying.
i know its a **** take, but i'm not gonna lie unlike some posters here and say i wont buy it when i probabily will p.s i'll update you round by round
I don't have Sky but if I did I'd probably take Trotters view, no its not a PPV card but I'd cave in on Saturday afternoon and get myself a Chinese, a few tinnies and order the PPV.
you'll never forgive yourself if its a corker, which it probably will be and what are you gonna do on that saturday night? nothing better than watching a live prizefight on HD TV which is only second to being in the arena
Bingo. :good The card will be repeated by Sky, so I hope those thinking of ordering, just hang on a few extra days.
How does tinnies, a Chinese, the Khan fight on a stream and Kats-Diaz and UFC for afters sound??:good
Many graphics cards and TV's also have S-Video connectors too. Some graphics cards also come with a breakout adapter to convert to RGB on phono sockets which can often run directly into many TV's or can be combined with a cheap adapter to SCART. Some of the newer graphics cards come with HDMI output too, which will run into many new TV's. Gotta love more options than you can wave a stick at eh?
One of my pals have a 'magic box' which means I can enjoy the PPV for free. Thats how Im pretty laid back about the subject, but in real life Im a very unselfish guy & it hurts me very much that this is on PPV. It hurts me that many of my comrades here wont get to see it. It makes me sick in fact. After all, we all have our differences here but we are like one big family on this forum. We all love our boxing & this latest SKY PPV deal is the worst thing that could happen to british boxing IMO. To me, its the start of the end of boxing as a mainstream sport. In Scotland boxing is already a minority sport. Now that Khan has left ITV to go PPV, the same fate awaits english boxing. No-one wins from this.
