    well said

its pathetic how these promoters just look at the short term, people don't realise how much of an impact live boxing on free TV has. it keeps the sport in the conciousness of the casual fan. the problam with this marginalization of boxing is no new fans are added and it will hurt the sport in the long term. like or louth him khan has captured the imagination of the casuals merely because he was available to watch even though his fights on ITV were going out at close to midnight with him going to PPV his fanbase will stagnate and when he eventually fights for a true world title it won't do big numbers

I just re subscribed to my old stream site (under a fiver a month) and tested it out and the picture quality on my 42 inch TV is top notch. I suspect its the same site someone was talking about earlier.

if you want to know the site name dont hesitate to PM me ;)

anybody think those stupid reports from columbia on sky sport news would've actually put people off buying the PPV. whats up with sky? not only are they ripping people off they know f--k all about promoting a fight. why did they spend money flying that twat to columbia when a couple of posters on a bus would've been better

Kerminator, i need 50 posts before i can pm anybody, so please ignore this post as i am purely working the numbers!

I feel no guilt whatsoever about using a free stream, if people want to rip me off i will cut them out, simple as that. I support the sport where possible, but it is the sport that i am loyal to, not the leaches that attach themselves to it.

I can't imagine why anyone would pay for this, to watch a celebrity boxer fight a no name nobody.
Boxing is in trouble, and doing stuff like this is just damaging it further.

Least De La Hoya has proven class and always fights decent opponents.

To be fair, Mr De La Hoya isn't really comprable with Amir Khan.
For a start, Oscar won Gold.

    Exactly, there is no comparison.

Will Khan ever be a six weight world champion?

Yeah Oscar's a celebrity boxer, but he is also a guy fought/beat the best. Boxing NEEDS celebrity boxers though, preferebly ones who are actually willing to fight and put that status on the line.

Maybe when Khan does eventually step up, he will get found out, Warren knows this, so he is just milking it putting on these shows against nobodies before Khan does an Audley.

i want to watch the fight but theres no way i'm going to support this ppv. how is boycotting this nonsense? if you strongly disagree with something you don't support it. and if you do buy the ppv, don't complain about it being ppv.

i'll try catching a free stream or wait for the repeat on normal sky sports a week later (as part of the package i already pay nearly 50 quid a month for)
