Stop over rating JCC jr!

The fight was over in like 2 seconds,he got up,it shouldn't have ended that way,because both guys were warriors and deserved to see the final bell.Steele is known for messing up.

 

Isn't there a thread where most of esb thought it was a good stoppage anyway I don't really like daddys girl but he keeps proving me wrong :/

 

Relax.....I think some are over rating him....but for the longest time most UNDER RATED JCC Jr. He's coming into his own.. He's a solid, hard nosed fighter who has the grit and mental fortitude that will always make for exciting and competitive fights. Martinez would most likely beat JCC Jr at this point...unless at age 37 Martinez is now beginning to show signs of his age.

For the record....JCC Jr is young and at this stage no where in the ball park of being mentioned with the all time greats like Hagler.

You are definitely right about Sergio Martinez being overrated. Having an outstanding year or two does not erase the fact that he was pretty much an average fighter for the first dozen years of his career.

 

froch would put his face into bits for him. he'd actually box chavez jr head off.

 

He wasn't even that impressive in his last fight. Nobody overrates him.

Yeah, and that isn't say a lot though, Froch is practically finished.

 

I didn't think anyone overrated him.

 

Jcc don't hit as hard as groves, nor the speed. So what he has a good chin, it will only prolong the beating for jr.

 

I think JCC Jr. is underrated if anything.
