Your theory is not as outlandish as some are making it be....that being said I respectfully disagree with your logic. What played out in the ring that day personified boxing truth through two fighters living in seemingly different worlds. The irony here is both fighters showed they are a lot more alike then they are different. Both brawled, both boxed, both adjusted, both defended and both impressed. I'm willing to bet Floyd was impressed with Cotto and Cotto was impressed with Floyd....stop thinking backwards at a time when last Saturdays fight was ultimately able to provide life, appreciation and integrity to boxing.

He's just not a closer. That's the real reason. He wont stay in mid range unloading cause he's too apprehsive about what potentially might come back. Others fighters who have more of a killer instinct are willing to stay in-range unloading. Mayweather doesn't want the gap to close up too much where he could potentially catch a counter back whilst unloading.

Cotto KO Sugar Ray Robinson in 3!

Cotto KO La Motta in 5!

    Cotto KO Hagler in 1!

Cotto is the best...only behind Mayweather. Pac is a cheat and beat shotz Cotto. Mayweather beat the truth Cotto. Word.

Cotto is ridiculously overrated on here, would get beat handily by all the best guys at 154 and 147

The likes of Lara, Canelo, Williams, Kirkland and would all **** his **** up. For some reason he's got a legion of fanboys who DKS with their tounges lodged firmly in his bumhole

    Cotto aint all that...bottom line

I had no idea boxing was purely about punching power.

Here I was praising Cotto because of his skills. Thank goodness for this thread.

    Cotto is very overrated.

And his emotional fans act like you can't kiss his gay ass nuts without being a hater. He is the only fightr I have seen that just absolutely can't get any criticism.

    He's overrated. Severely.

    Williams was overrated.

    Cotto is rated accordingly.

As for being emotional you couldnt even talk about boxing for months courtesy of a Martinez left hand that landed on Williams jaw and knocked him the **** out.

Thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Those guys are far from anything Elite @ ANY weight.

Thats because you ARE a HATER, there aint no criticism in any of your wasted efforts...you and the guy above should start a club...better yet join a gym.

Maybe if people weren't so quick to write him off with his new and improved team and new weight, there wouldn't be such vast overrating.

    Shouldn't have underrated him first.
