STOP overrating Spence - He was schooled by a weight drained Brook before his glass eyes went.

i like Brook, but i wouldnt call having your eye punched in luck. it didn't just break on its own, that was Spence's doing

I wouldn't go as far as to say he's unproven. Even when he was losing those early rounds to Brook he was competitive. But no doubt the fight might have played out very differently had Brook not been struggling at the weight and had already suffered a cranial injury to his orbital socket which could of increased the likelihood of future similar injuries.

Spence has shown he's world class but he still has a lot to prove. With Thurman and Crawford in his division, for me he's yet to prove he's even the best at his own weight.

 

as much as I like Spence I’m under the impression Crawford works him based on movement I need to see Spence in there with another boxer

 

I do think Spence gets a little more love than his resume warrants and I'm a fan of Brook, but I didn't see a schooling and, as stated above, Spence broke the eye socket with his punches, and won. Someone will get to Spence though, I'm sure of that. And I suspect he might be one of those fighters who permanently diminishes after his first loss. Don't ask me why. it's just a gut feeling...

Brook was in the fight, it was pretty even about midway through. Then Spence broke him down and made Brook quit in his home town.

 

I wouldnt call him a god like creature but im sold on him, his style is guna struggle if he comes up against any real elite level slicksters but i cant think of any at his weight class anyway apart from Crawford and i just feel their paths are not guna cross for a good while if at all. Just a gut feeling.

But that aside sometimes you watch a guy rising up through the rankings and you can just tell, many can look great but get found out at the top level but some can look great cuz they just are. And i think he is. Im a fan.

This. Spence has potential, but he still hasn't faced a serious puncher like Thurman or a very durable fighter like Garcia, or a crafty fighter like Crawford yet, so the jury is still out on how good he really is.

 

You lost all credibility when you said Spence lost the first 5 out of 6 rounds. The fight was close, competitive and Spence was ahead, in my opinion and on to 2 of the judges score cards. Yeah, yeah, I know, the judges are all corrupt and can't be trusted, except when your hero wins. LOL Spence whoop that boys eye ball out of his head and you trying to act like Brook did something?SMH
