stop saying Mayweather should fight Canleo!

    Lil Floyd is barely a welterweight and canelo is 167 come fight night compared to floyds 150. instead of saying floyd fight canelo, say canelo go fight ward or something!:)

    Apologies for wanting a unification fight between Floyd and Canelo

    Floyd is ranked number 1 at light middle, he also has one of the belts.

    Mayweathers skill level allows him to compete and beat Canelo despite the weight disparity. I don't know why people are so worried and think Canelo wins. Impressed by him v Trout, but still not ready for a Mayweather.

    People need to stop bringing up the weight difference
    Alvarez's stamina was terrible because he hydrated so much, it has it's good and bads
    Floyd fought in the division so Floyd should face him
    If you can make weight on the weigh in then nothing else should matter

    Trouts accuracy was pretty damn bad for a top level fighter. IMO, it will be a bit different in there with most everything landing square/flush even if Floyd isn't a monster puncher.

    Trout just flicked arm punches all night, Canelo didn't even have a little red mark or nothing :lol: Only shot was Trouts counter jab as Canelo came in.

    At first I didn't want to see the fight because of the weight. But PBF is so much more complete that the 20 pound weight difference may not matter.

    lots of people worried about size but this is a key point, trout looked sloppy as hell, yet alvaez was still backing away and at times running. this was mainly due to trout's size. but given that, a sharp puncher like mayweather is going to score alot more often.

    He's not ready for Floyd. Didn't Ortiz and De La Hoya and Cotto have comparable weight advantages on him?

    Agree 100%....Mayweather shouldn't fight and don't have to fight Canelo but it's not because of the weight, it's because where was Canelo when Floyd was dominating at 21?

    exactly, wieght typically matters when the skill levels of two fighters are similar. thats not really the case in this situation. now if you're talking martinez vs. mayweather, completely different story.
