'STOP THE BOOZING, HATTON' - Floyd Mayweather Senior

Hatton is never going to change his ways or his fight style in a few months after 10 years of boozing and fighting a particular way. I really have no idea what the guy is doing with Mayweather Sr.

I can see a points upset on the cards for Hatton if he tries to box clever with Malignaggi, that is PMs game, not Hattons.

 

Mayweather is not a stupid man as regards to boxing. I wholeheartedly believe he is not trying to change Hatton's game. He knows what Hatton's about and will simply try to add a couple of new dimensions to it. Hatton is not going to outbox any top tier opponent. He gets in their face to rough them up and wear them down. Mayweather is not gonna get him to stand in front of his opponent and duck and weave then counter with flashy combo's.

What he says is reasonable,but why not tell Ricky all this privately instead of belittling him in public?
Well,because now people will have heard of him here who otherwise wouldnt through his association with Hatton(who everybody in the UK. knows)

If he was private, quiet and circumspect as a trainer,he wouldnt be promoting himself,which is his priority,and this was a great excuse to do that.

Tell Ricky all this lifestyle stuff personally & privately before they start camp and leave it at that?.....nah,that wouldnt do,there is no column inches in only doing that.
