Stopping an experienced, close to world class pro who hadn't been stopped before in your debut fight when you're pacing yourself and trying to get rounds in? He's got a fair bit more than potential I'd say.

Thousands of quality amateurs maybe, but eh 2 time olympic champion and world champion not many of them ever, His debut was very impressive to beat a tough contender by KO and to make it a ten rounder is very very impressive, granted it would be a mistake to put have him fight for a world title to early, you can't deny watching the guy you can see he is something very very special

OP, generalizing/not being specific doesn't make posts good.
By amazing you mean what? Well, Rigo, Loma, GG are Olympians and ams ATGs, not just high quality ams.
When you say thousands of amazing ams didn't make it in pros, can you the name at least 5 such boxers with similar resumes (more than 300 wins, less than 5 losses)? Lets be specific. If you say thousands, I'm sure you can list at least 5.
    Thank you.

The ones who hate Lomachenko also hate The Klitschkos, Kovalev, Boytsov, Pulev, Provodnikov, Golovkin, etc. Do I see a pattern here?

    Yep, there is a pattern.

He was probably referring to guys like Breland and Shields who were exceptional amateurs during an era in which amateur success translated more directly to professional success, due to the lack of head gear being worn.
