The attendance record for a single event at the Olympic Stadium was a Pink Floyd concert in the '70s.

    78,322!!!!!

More recently, The Montreal's Alouettes Football team did +66,000.

Schaefer wants it at 168lbs for Bute's title.

I doubt any kind of negotiation have started yet. It was just a quote from Schaefer after the Hopkins-Ornelas fight.

Good fight for both guys at this point. Better 4 Bute as I see him winning.

wow.i'd love to see this go down, especially in mtl as i could probably save enough to watch it live.right now i think bute could outwork hopkins for a narrow decision although the old master rises to the occasion and i could see him dismantling lucien as he did with pavlik and tito(not that either guys style is similar,it's just that bernard is an absolute master.not pretty but ultimately effective.he figures out his opponent's style and usually tears it apart.hopkins in montreal

Will ever Ward fight out of Oackland ?

Bute was ready to go for Froch in England but discussions failed maybe cause of Super six rising.

He also answered to american jounalists after Zuniga fight he`s ready to go in US for american fighters ANYTIME.FOR THIS WATCH THE FINAL OF THIS :[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5skFGMpTMCU[/ame]

So, I suppose you`re not like some disrespectful kids who post : Bute is coward. The promoters has fear to not get out of hand the cash cow, not him.

IMO Hopkins would KILL Bute. Bute is good but he'll never get away with that low hand.

The only problem i have is i don't think Hopkins is willing to travel to Canada and fight in Bute's backyard. And that's where the fight would have to be for Hopkins to maximize his money earnings. But then again, he was willing to go to Wales so i guess it's very possible.

The only problem if the match will be set up is if Hopkins will finish the fight on his feet.
The people who think would might be even a slight chance that Hopkins win such a fight should check their reasoning abilities.
Hopkins will not risk to be KO`ed by Bute. I bet on that. The same with Pavlik.Hope is not the best prediction.
There`s no boxer in SMW or below to win to Bute now.
The only men who can put problems to him right now are in upper weight:Dawson and maybe Pascal.

It all depends on what BHop wants - obviously, he's thinking easy payday/redemption/no credit with Jones. He had no interest in legacy. If the payday of Jones is judged to be shot (not to mention the fight would just be an embarrassment at this point), then Bute does offer as good a payday/legacy combo as anyone else.

Besides, Bute is a bit hard up for good opponents right now. Ademak has lots of options. Who knows if the Haye idea is real, but Hop would have to go to England to get a decent gate on that one...

Makes sense for both parties, really. It's the only fight outside of Dawson at 175 that offers Hopkins more benefits than just revenge...although it wouldn't shock me to see him still take the Jones fight at all for just that reason.
