We need to stop the recycling of heavyweights in the division. I know the division sucks, but guys like Rahman, Holyfield, Toney and a slew of others need to quit getting shots at the belts. They're old, slow, boring, and have already been given ample opportunity to fight, or have fought and been dominated. If there's NOBODY out there that is a viable opponent then just shut the doors on the division and crown Klitschko king until something comes along.

    Heavyweight boxing is dead

Just scrap cruiserweight - would solve it at a stroke.

stop with this heavy boxing is dead over and over.
you are talking about what you do not understand.

don king was the man responsible for the death of heavy boxing in america.
if you never signed with don king you never got a title shot.

it was don king fighter v don king fighters only.

20 to 30 million just watched that fight in europe /eastern block and maybe 1.5 to 2 million in america.

Rahman has no business competing at this level but the only reason he got the fight is because Povetkin pulled out and they needed someone to replace him on short notice

You are right though, this division is terrible, the only ones worth a damn are WALD and VITLAI. I like Haye, he is fun to watch, but his chin was questionable at cruiser, he can't take a real heavyweight punch
