Okay, for the sake of a good argument, I'll grant you that Froch was justified in landing those punches to the back of Dirrel's head to compensate for the clinching. Tell me what he did besides that. Honestly, I'd like to know. :huh

His jab was much more effective then andre's. Snapping andre's head back. He did decent body work. And he was always moving foward. And andre was always moving back, or trying to make carl clinch because he was AFRAID of carl's power.

Granted andre rocked carl once or twice. The rest of the time carl WALKED THROUGH andre's punch's and kept on coming foward...... So how effective were andre's shots that carl walked through most of them and had a clean face after the fight???

    This isnt amatuer scoring guys

Froch did the fighting, Dirrell did the running, holding, complaining, falling down on canvas. How many points does he get for that?

no im just saying that, both of them did about the same amount of work in the fight. And i scored the fight a draw without the point deduction. BOTH of them stunk it the **** out, and neither of them deserve to be called a champion of the world. Froch only won because of the point deduction for me :good

Froch lost an ugly fight that was only close because neither guy did enough to want to give them the nod and a lot of what Dirrell did was negated in many minds by the middle rounds where he held and went down when Froch leaned on him.

Doesn't matter though, the tournament goes on and against the more seasoned and mature Kessler Froch is going to get embarrassed. Dirrell may needs to mature a lot before his next fight or he may not win one at all because Froch was the easiest matchup for him in this tournament. Kid's got a lot of talent though.

Froch retained his belt but lost a lot of respect outside of the fans who are only fans because he's English, mouthy, and has a good chin. Dirrell is still learning, but Froch has peaked. Not good news for Froch, because he looked BAD tonight.

Dude, seriously. Adults are trying have a conversation here. Why don't you go back to jerking off to that nude photoshoot that the Klits did a few years back?

Bull**** dude. They both looked like garbage, but Dirrel scored almost all of the clean punches in the fight. Last time I checked, that was the basis for scoring boxing matches.

When was that happening? I've got the fight on the pc here and I'd like know what the **** you are seeing that the rest of us are not. Or can't you tell me cos you are just making **** up to suit your agenda?

I know what we should do, let's abandon judging and just have someone inspect the fighters faces after a fight to decide the winner! Seriously **** off with this ****, you are just embarrassing yourself now.

nope, thats not the only basis :huh

    I score fights based on
    # of punches landed
    Effectiveness of punches
    Ring Generalship
    Amount of damage done

i wonder how much the crowd plays into peoples perception of the fight i make it a point to watch all televised boxing with the mute button activated and all i know is that it was an ugly fight but an ugly fight in which dirrell did better work

I think Carl's jab did more damage then dirrellls, and his jabs actually stopped dirrell in his tracks a few times....

Dirrells jab wasnt as effective. It was dirrells hook and straight which served him well in this fight.

I scored the fight as a draw, and carl won it based on the deduction. But i think he shoud be stripped for those performance :-(

I would watch the fight again to get a better score, but I am NOT a sadomasochist.... I wont put myself through that torture again :yep
