Stop trying to compare Manny to Maidana and Hatton

I didn't know anybody was.



Who has ever said Pacquiao is like Maidana and Hatton in any way?

 

I wouldn't compare Manny to neither of those guys. While Manny might be a faster fighter, have better movement, more explosiveness, lightning combinations - both Hatton and Maidana have crude inside games. Both those guys know how to cut off the ring. I wouldn't compare them to Pac at all, these are 3 completely different fighters. I'm not even sure who is better suited to defeat Floyd's style, because that is what it all comes down to. Atm I'd say Maidana, because he got close in the first fight.

 

They've compared Manny to aspects of Maidana and Judah. Any likeness is extremely thin between them. "Grasping at straws" is what it's called.

 

Manny is bigger then Floyd so he's going to over power him.

it's perfectly ok to compare them, not claim their styles are the same but actually make the point that Pac is a superior fighter. All these are very offensive no? so in this respect they are similar. Aside from this, Pac has better overall physical, technical and mental skills...

When we bring the Maidana fights, there is no need to get defensive *****s, we bring it yp because in two fights, Floyd never even hurt Maidana; a Maidana that charged floyd for 24 rounds without much of a regard for defense. We, Pac fans. like to bring this up every time *****s claim Floyd is gonna KO pac, with what? he couldn't even hurt a defenseless Marcos, even Khan hurt Maidana in their fight.
Maidana would do well to beat Rios or Algieri and Floyd didn't look too good vs him. The Maidana fights are absolutely relevant here.

As far as Hatton, there are similarities in that Pac and Hatton attack relentlessly. The difference is that Hatton was 1 dimensional and couldn't adapt, Pac is much faster and more versatile.

no-one fights like Pacquiao, he is one of the most unique fighters. We can still bring up Hatton and Maidana up given their offensive styles and discuss what they did well or bad and why (or why not) Pac could do better, with his better overall skills. Makes sense?

 

Floyd didn't just not stop him, he never even hurt him. Even Khan hurt Maidana so catch my drift? Maidana looked like he was coming back from the spa, after fighting Floyd. I'd like to see Maidana against apcquiao actually, Maidana would be KO'd.

 

well, he's fought runners, like Algieri and defensive fighters like Bradley. He beat the sh@t out of Rios, Rios' face looked like he was in a torture chamber. Rios, like Maidana, also has never being KO'd right? but at least Pac messed him up whilst Floyd didn't even make a mark on Maidana...

Maidana, like Rios, is the worst possible match up for Pac - weak defense sand charging an offensive juggernaut with superior speed and skills.
