Fury’s win over Whyte was one of the greatest wins in HW history. He dominated and outboxed Whyte for 6 rounds and then finished it with a spectacular one punch knockout. However some have tried to discredit this win buy saying Whyte is no good but tonight’s performance proved Whyte is no mug. Fury’s resume deserves more respect.

Beating Whyte is only slightly more impressive than beating Chisora.

Whyte vs Chisora fights basically sum it up. Whyte is a slight upgrade on Chisora.

This post right here is proof of the depths this forum has descended to. How can you call Fury beating a battle worn Whyte one of the greatest heavyweight fights in history.
Say it out loud and listen to how ridiculous your statement is.

Fury took Whyte to slick school and scored a spectacular HL reel one punch finish even though he'd abandoned his slickness long ago. That's like Mikey Tyson knocking someone out with two badly broken hands. Fact is no one has ever handled Whyte that easily.

And he treated us to a GOAT ring walk too

Hell no. As a Fury fan, beating Whyte means nothing. At his best, Whyte was a fringe contender, now he's a mediocre gatekeeper. Fury has far better wins than Whyte.

Fury handled Whyte as he handled Chisora in 2014. He beat them more easily than anyone ever has but you can only get so much credit for dominating this level of opponent. Whyte isn't as good as Wallin hence his pullout 10 days prior to the fight, despite wanting activity. Whyte's performance against low level cruiserweight Bacurin also suggests that he wouldn't beat a 2x cruiser champ away from home.

One of the greatest wins in HW history ? It wouldn't even make my top 100.

It's an overused expression, but that one made me laugh out loud, literally.
