I see it here over and over again. Wlad and Vitali are "simply too big", for the competition. It's an "unfair advantage", etc...

    I am calling B.S.

There are MANY big guys who aren't at the level of Wlad or Vitali. Thompson, Austin, McCline, Grant, Long, Valuev, Bostice, Jefferson, Dimentrenko, Helenius, Ustinov, Fury, Wach, Price, Towers, Whitaker, etc...

There is no "unfair advantage", and they aren't "too big". They are however, highly skilled, always train hard, and always in shape.

Absolutely, I have seen many big guys that are taller than 6.5 and they end up robotic and slow and get beaten by faster smaller boxers, also with kickboxers.
But they both are extremely skilled for their heights, especially vitali who sometimes might look goofy but is highly skilled for a guy his size.

they are "too big" for most of the guys they meet. it is not an "unfair advantage" tho. it's just the way it is.

"unfair advantage" would be using it as an excuse. in & of itself it is not an excuse but a reason.

i inderstand what u r saying, but, to say their height doesnt help them is absurd. they rely on their height as much as their skill. if they were 5'9" with their skills they would have a harder time with a top hw taller than 5'9".

Height alone doesn't help. The fighters I've listed in my first post prove that.
Height + Skill, Yes. Height alone, no.

If they were 5'9, they'd be completely different types of fighters, train differently, have a different style, etc....
As they say, "If my Aunt had balls, she'd be my Uncle".

It is their skill, athleticism, hard work, motivation and dedication which makes them unbeatable. Their size is useless if they were to in flabby like McBride or soft like Fury, or robotic like Long.

What is wrong with physical advantages though? its very fair. Its not like they have 3 arms or anything.

If Tyson lost 7 inches and was instead only 5ft 3 I actually don't think he would have been a belt holder even at HW.

    Stupid isn't it?

Their dimensions in terms of height and reach are HUGE advantages. If you take their respective skills and put them into a 6ft 3in/ 220lb package against the likes of Ali, Holmes, Holyfield, Tyson (prime) etc then they would get completely and utterly outclassed.

How can you call Vitali "highly skilled" incidentally? Nice guy but he fights like an orangutang!

Their LOOOOONNNNGGGGG bodies are also a hinderance. More target to hit, less mobility, coordination. Who the better ball hander Mugsey Bogue or Manute Bol?

Use some cognitive thinking here people. It ****ing works both ways.:rofl:rofl:rofl

    When Tyson stopped training hard

    When Holyfield got too old

    When Lewis retired

    When the Klitschko's took over

    Take your pick

Yea i'm tired of hearing idiots saying Vitali/ Wlad have an unfair advantage cause they too big and use their height well. I mean for real stfu. Lewis has been ko by fighters like Rahman who are shorter then Him. Vitali lost to Bryd who is way shorter then him. Wlad been ko by fighters far shorter then him. Tyson has ko alot of far taller fighters that try to use their height. If you all think it's unfair then you all ain't true boxing fans that hasn't watch boxing for a very long time. Valuev is the biggest hw of all times and yet he lost 2 times by far far shorter fighters. Dimin lost by a far shorter fighter in Chambers.

    Please

More target to hit? Yeah when you get past the massive reach and the safety first gameplan.

The only reason you're using this argument is because you know the advantages they have. You're only going to be able to convince yourself!
