Stop worrying! I'm convinced Haye beats Valuev.

I'm shocked that my fellow Brits, my boyz born of UK birth, British by law and Highlander by the grace of God are shaking in their knickers about this fight with Haye vs. Hairy & The Hendersons lol! This will be the easiest "competitive" fight of Davey's career. Okay 2nd easiest from the Enzo farce. Haye fires a few chin-checks in the 1st 2 frames then cruises to an easy-as-Sunday-morning points win. DH gets good mileage in from a little road rust, keeps gas in the ole tank and gets the pinks to the ride.

Don't worry fellas this will be easy! trust me. :good

But you can understand why people worry when your own logic demands something that Haye has never done in his entire career, and this time against a big big man that can drain his energy.

All i can envision is Valuev walking Haye down.

Thompson did it, Mormeck did it up until being caught by a brilliant punch, and i seriously cannot see Haye hurting Valuev to the point where Nikolai needs rescuing or being ko'd.

Haye NEEDS to box Valuev and i dont think he has the skills to do it when a 300lbs man is bearing down on you and putting his weight on you.

Does Haye have the stamina to box 12 rounds in a disiplined manner?

Holyfield had the chin to take a couple if he had to. I think between hayes chin and his stamina its going to be hard for him to win over 12 rounds esp. away from home.

Haye vs Mormeck was pretty even until that point. Haye was doing well on the back foot apart from when he was floored. Mormeck's style was all wrong for Haye though.

And yes, I think it is also an easy win for Haye. I thought that as soon as the fight was announced and I am not going to let the build up sway my judgement.

Don't get me wrong fellas, I've ripped into Haye in the past for his reckless ways and had similar concerns from the get go, I know you guys ain't worried about anything Valuev brings to the table except his size. But more about Hayes shortcomings when it comes to actualy staying disciplined for 12 rounds which hes never been able to (or had to) do. But this will be like taking candy from a baby, Valuev is that awful.

Skill wise yes i can envision a Haye victory, but Haye has fallen in love with his supposed power, which whilst awesome at cruiser it isnt as effective, or should i say will not be as effective at heavy.

Plus this is the first true heavy of heavyweight size that Haye will be fighting, and his stamina was very suspect at cruiser when he basically was a small heavy cutting to 200 and he had the advantages over his opponents, now he is facing a massive guy who is a good boxer, good but not great, who has never been shaken and imo has the power to hurt and put Haye away.

    Valuev in 7.

Valuev isn't THAT bad, Haye has dodgy punch resistance and you want him to win on points in Germany? No chance IMO. I'm rooting for Haye but he will get stopped/pulled out/injured anywhere from 1-12. I'm hoping he proves me wrong :good
