You forgot Kessler, who is as iron chinned as the others. What does that say? It says that at the elite level, almost every fighter is iron chinned. Froch has to be able to KO such an opponent. His power means nothing if he's not able to deliver correctly one of his bombs. I don't think he will againt Ward so this one's chin may have 0 effect on the result of the fight.

You're right, I forgot about Kessler. However, that doesn't mean every fighter is iron-chinned, it's just that all of these guys are. Kessler has never been down in around 45 fights. Abraham had a flash knockdown against Dirrell and otherwise has never even been noticeably hurt in his career. We saw how Manny Pacquiao did against a fighter not willing to engage, it's tough to knock a guy out who doesn't even stand his ground. I'm not sure if Glen Johnson has ever been down, but everyone knows how tough Johnson is. Some guys just don't get knocked out, and these guys all fit into that category.

I agree, Froch is too awkward of a customer to let the current crop of super middleweights inflict a one-sided defeat on him. Due to his style and stubbornness, he’ll provide Ward a tougher night than most others would. It won’t be a 120-118 type score, but it’ll be a clear victory on all three scorecards, in my opinion.

Best thing for boxing is froch stopping ward, he has taken the toughest route of all the guys and is a greap person for boxing since he travels and fights everyone, plus future match ups are more fun with him than with ward, froch vs bute/martinez/pascal 2/hopkins would bne awesome.

Anytime a fighter is consistently knocked out, fight after fight which was the case with Jermaine Taylor then I call glass how I see it, how can you call fighters like Khan and Haye glass-jawed when they've only been ko'ed once and not call Taylor glass-jawed when he's been ko'ed three times brutally, I don't care how hard the fighters punch that's irrelevant, because Pavlik, Froch nor Abraham have ko'ed anyone since Jermaine...

So yes it is glass no matter what his chin was like earlier in his career, its been shattered now and it won't get better, now post your lil smiling face on that...

It was not a 120-108 type of victory against Bika so I agree with you, Froch won't be an easy client for Ward.

This is going to be a 7-5 type fight, not the bloodbath some expect. Ward should be favored, but Froch is a live dog.
