    Norman jr vs Sasaki

guessing it will be usyk by the end of the year give that we half a yearish to go. but the usyk one to me does seem a bit hoakey. but thats just me. BNJ for me. its so picture perfect. the landing is scary dont like listening to it but the set up, the moving up from low to high the step around so it goes past the guard. excellence.

It really showed the wider audience that BNJ does have real skills alongside his just tremendous power and strength.

    Usyk

Norman's KO of Sasaki was spectacular but that was against someone his size or rather someone naturally smaller than him, who is his age, a lower level fighter who wasn't and never will be a world champion

A 38 y.o past prime Usyk knocked out a reigning world champion who is way bigger, heavier and younger than him and who is a much higher level than Sasaki, and it was for undisputed too

Norman's KO might have been more emphatic but Usyk's KO was iconic

Yeah that was a wild one. I don't think Bakole was even hurt, I think it totally scrambled his balance, he fell over, and it was stopped. Everyone knew the circumstances of the fight, both his corner and the ref were going to be REAL quick to jump in and stop it at the slightest sign of trouble.

It was almost comedic the way he shook of the shot before and then looked completely discombobulated after the next innocuous looking shot.

    Norman easily.

Dubois quit. That wasn’t even a clean knockout.

I’d argue making your opponent quit is actuslly more impressive. When you turn their lights out they have no choice which is great. When they look at you all conscious and go no I don’t want no more lol. If I have superiority over someone I’d beat them up slowly over 12. I’m not talking about a laboured 12 round win. More like destroying them as a fighter. Much easier to blast them out and get it over with.

I’m very surprised by the amount of people saying Usyk is KO of the year. The fight was stopped because DuBois waited out the count…..

If that were to win, it might be the weakest KO of the year ever…..

Think about the magnitude of the event

    Usyk is a global superstar

    An icon

''The Baddest Man on the Planet''

The undisputed HW champion of the world

The first man in history to become undisputed at HW in the four belt era

The first man in history to become undisputed at HW x 2

In six weeks time he will become the oldest undisputed HW champion of all time and the 2nd oldest unified HW champion of all time

    He's the P4P King

The greatest fighter of his generation

    A GOAT

    His KO was iconic

It was performed at a much higher level

In front of 90,000 at the world famous Wembley Stadium

In a match up for all the marbles ie. undisputed

Against a much higher calibre of opponent than Sasaki

    A fellow reigning world champion

Who was way bigger and younger than him

Sasaki is a sushi chef who moonlights as a janitor

He was smaller than Norman not way bigger

About the same age not way younger

He has never beaten anyone close to world level

I can post videos all day of regional boxers getting HL reel KO'd

Brian Norman rebooted Sasaki, and basically sent him into retirement

Exactly. None come close. That guy was KOed so hard. That's about as close to dying as it gets from someone who walked away, losing six weeks of memory. That's permanent damage.
