You guys need to check my past posts ... I said that Mosley was going to win either by late rounds stoppage or by unanimous decision. I keep predicting these fights and nobody seems to believe in my knowledge of boxing. I'm not trying to be boastfull but what i'm saying is that you need guys need to take heed in to what i'm writing. Add to that, what I said about Margarito is true ... Mayweather would beat him by stoppage ... no doubt -- Margarito isn't that good of a boxer and just because he beat Cotto doen't mean he's the man of the division -- All Margarito fans, I want you to stand up for your guy and come up with the best excuses you can. Deuces
Margarito was knocked out by the same guy that turned down Floyd 2 or 3 times and has gone on record to say that he turned down fights with PBF ... I said that Margarito was going to get stopped and he did --
No, thats just my way of telling you I told you so !!! This man had 5 losses, now 6 and was knocked out ... this guy was rated so high just because he beat Cotto who's had question marks surrounding him. Then to say that Floyd was ducking him was totally ridiculous. Mosley used his speed and his power ... that right hand and the left hook damn near took his head off. That was one hype train that didn't last too long ...
I place value on yours and compukillers predictions.. well done to both of you. Whats your opinion on the wrapping exposure? Mosey over here and comment.. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119549
Good ... it obvious was an advantage that Margarito had over his opponents and it was great that Brother Nazim had pointed that out. Just like how Freddie Roach pointed it out against Oscar --
I been watching boxing too long to jump on Margarito`s hype train. Margo has been around some time. Theres very good reasons as to why he never moved into the elite. 1 dimensional fighters never do.
They were talking about Margarito being too strong ... I found that odd considering that Mosley was coming down in weight ... and knocked out a middleweight in his last fight.
Mosley came into the ring at 160 last night. When he fought at 35 he used to come into the ring at the SAME weight. He was a huge lightweight and hence why he jumped 2 divisions. How he made 35 il never know..
To be fair to both of you.... You did say Marg wasn't up to much. Of course in a prime vs prime matchup Mosley would school him, but I was thinking that with Marg in his prime and Mosley seemingly on the slide having gone life and death with Mayorga - their stars would cross at some stage. How wrong.
This was nothing more than Media and typical ESB hype. Mosley physically wasnt on the slide and i never saw any indications of that in any of his previous fights. After coming down from 54 he had little direction and not much to fight for. He milled around the welterweight landscape for a while and after loosing a debatable decision to Cotto lost his way again. Shane is a championship fighter. Give him a championship fight and he will always rise to the occasion. This is no diffrent to any of the great fighters. You give them something to fight for and they`ll always put in a sterling peformance. Additionally Shane is one of the best conditioned fighters in the history of boxing. He is never out of shape. Bear in mind he doesnt have much mileage and has never really taken a beating apart from the 1st fight with Vernon he has plenty left in his tank as was evident by tonights fight.
Perhaps the **** poor showing against Mayorga could be down to a lack of motivation..... Always willing to eat my humble pie and admit I got it wrong.....
