Anyone think if that wasn't Hopkins that fight could been stopped in the last 20 seconds, I understand it's the end of the fight but he was taking a clubbing.

If it lasted 15 more seconds he would have been going out of the arena on a stretcher.

Agreed with both. And I was asking for a stoppage with :25 or :30 remaining.

nah, Bernard was good. he took the shots, he wasn't in any serious trouble.

would have been a shame if the ref jumped in then and there.

I couldn't believe how biased Roy Jones was toward B Hop on the HBO broadcast. HBO should be ashamed of themselves. Kovalev dominated, B Hop felt the power in the first round and turtled the rest of the fight.
B Hop landed 3 or 4 solid shots, and the HBO crew went crazy for them. Fact of the matter is, he was destroyed by Kovalev, and if he would have opened up, he would have been stopped.

I usually like the HBO broadcasts, but tonight they were utterly disgraceful, hoping and wishing for a B Hop win. Shameful.

Hopkins not hurt at all. Go watch another sport if you can't stomach the sport. You are probably lite in the loafers anyway.

I wouldnt have complained if the fight had been stopped as Hopkins was looking hurt, wobbling around and taking big shots, but I am also pleased for Hopkins that he wasnt stopped.

Due to styles I wouldnt be shocked if Hopkins were to beat Stevenson, if the Kovalev fight hasnt taken too much out of him.
Kovalevs footwork seemed to trouble Hopkins.

The referee is up close and can tell better than us if Hopkins is out on his feet. The man is packing granite, clearly.

He was getting knocked around like a ragdoll, would have preferred that to have been stopped.

The ref was horrible-he tried to rescue Hop at the end of each round-anyone else see that?
Hop was almost killed in the 12th round

It could have been stopped in the first had it been earlier in the round when Kov caught him.

But, yeah, he should've been stopped in the 12th. He took a hiding after he stuck his tongue out.

Your the one who needs to find a new sport, if you couldn't spot what most of the people have mentioned in this thread.
