Stories from boxing novices..Post them!

I once had an argument with a mate regarding the following -

Who would win between an elite level boxer against an elite level kickboxer in a PURE BOXING MATCH. I said that of course the boxer would win as this was his specialty and my mate said that he wasn't so sure as the kickboxer would be able to take more punishment than the boxer because they were used to taking kicks aswell in combat. I then said well if an elite level kickboxer could beat an elite level boxer why don't they box then as the top level guys can earn $millions per fight compared to the money a kickboxer could earn ? He just said that they prefer to kickbox.

****in hell these imbeciles infuriate me.

 

I'm gonna watch Haye-Wlad with a load of workmates. I've got three bets on with three of them that Klit will win. There's another guy there, my mate's dad who's really into boxing, went to the fights at the old wembley. They're making us sit on our own in the 'Klitschko corner' I don't even want Wlad to win, but some of the statements... I just had to put my money on Wlad. Though now it's win-win, Haye wins I'm happy, Wlad wins I profit.

 

My mate thinks Haye will beat Klit because "no one expected him to do a number on the last giant russian". He didnt do a number on him, and Valuev is gash!

 

I can't stand these sort of threads, there seems to be one done every 5 minutes.
