    Anyone know any stories of pros facing each other in the amateurs?

    I know some such as:

    Marcos Maidana beat Lucas Matthysse
    Lucas Matthysse beat Breidis Prescott in 1 round
    Shane Mosley beat Oscar De La Hoya
    Vernon Forrest beat Shan Mosley in the amateurs and pros twice
    Ivan Calderon beat Miguel Cotto

    This is what Cotto said about the loss: "I fought with Ivan Calderon when I was amateur, 100 pounds. He beat me three to two. After that, we make the team of Puerto Rico to represent Puerto Rico in international competition. We were both in the Olympics in 2000. He's still at 105 pounds. He's, if not the best, one of my best friends."

    Vargas fought Chop Chop.

    They was young, I think it was the Sunshine games in Florida, Roy won but not by alot.

    Antonio Tarver is one of the best amatuer fighters the US has produced in 50 years.

    Henry Tillman beat Mike Tyson twice
    Roy Jones beat Richie Woodhall
    I think Jurgen Brahmer beat Ricky Hatton and Carl Froch in the amateurs aswell, I think he ko'd Hatton.
