I bought Teddy's book.

Teddy Atlas fought off 12-13 armed attackers. He knocked all but one of them out -- the one that sliced his face open.

how bout when the *******, had that whole pacquiao e-mail story. whatever happen to that anyway?

 

Atlas gave different versions of story of scar to different reporters over years, until he finally got one story going consistant in 1990's. One story he did in interview with Ron Scott Stevens back in 1980's is totally inconsistant with story in book. Same with Tyson gun story, he gave give different versions. Real one is Tyson "disobaying" him, and Cus telling Teddy to back off a bit. Cus saved Teddy from Rikers Island, on behalf of Kevin Rooney, who Atlas called begging ot help him out. Teddy screwed both over. He's piece of ****.

 

And I bet none of it was his fault, of course. I never saw this one, anyone know story behind it, or where it took place?

 

He has one of the 4 main types of lupus. He devolved it in his teens though, not his twenties.

 

I guess I'll keep the fact that I like Teddy's old school mentality, and style of commentating to myself...wait...

Sorry fellas, I respect the **** out of Teddy. His passion for our sport is hard for me to hate.
