Was clicking through boxrec, like you do sometimes and I came across this guy:

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=226457&cat=boxer

First he's from the Congo, yet fighting in Thailand secondly, given the quality of his opponents, he must've had some talent.

    Any others you've found?

Even though it appears his first professional fight was against a guy with a 30-2 record, it's not uncommon for some fighters/promoters in south east Asia to create false boxing records to get wins against green fighters.

This has been an ongoing issue for Australian promoters as they frequently get Asian boxers (Usually Filipino, Thai and Indonesian) to fight in Australia on the club scene because the boxing pool is larger but sometimes it's impossible to verify their records. So you got a young prospect with 2 or 3 wins and want to match him up with another guy with similar experience but you can't verify how many fights this guy has really had or even his actual age.

Even though he hasn't fought a green fighter officially, I'd still suspect this guy has had a few professional fights off the books beforehand.
