interesting you mention that. Everytime I pushed a car after that point the Davey Moore incident comes up in my head. Almost everytime I do something which I think might be going too far.

Lot of fantastic information on Les Darcy here, including the dental incident that would cause complications that took his life while he was a budding superstar in America.

I'm going to add two more names

Edwin Rosario - Rosario died at age 34 on December 1, 1997. Matthew Hurley of SecondsOut.com wrote: "An autopsy would later reveal that he had died of an aneurysm, with fluid having accumulated in his lungs. Doctors would also add that his past history with drugs and alcohol were a major contributing factor, although neither were found in his system at the time of his death. Sadly, it looked as though Edwin was trying to stay clean and get his life together when it suddenly ended."

Steve Little - Little died from cancer at 34 (not so strange case)

David Sands. Was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame 1998 and recognized as one of the greatest boxers never to win a world title. On Aug 11 1952 a truck Sands was driving with 15 passengers overturned and Sands died of head and internal injuries.

Heavyweight contender Alex Stewart was retired but it always shocks me that he died in November 2016 from a blood clot in his lung

No more to add, but I'll throw Paul Williams in whose career was cut short due to a motorcycle accident. He swerved away from a car travelling about 70 miles an hour and apparently his body went about 60 feet leaving his spinal cord bruised. Sadly he was due to fight Canelo, which would have been an absolute barn burner. Williams would have had a solid 3/4 years at the top of the game making some serious money whether he was winning or losing, which was such a shame because there was rarely a dull moment when he was in the ring.

He missed a big payday with Canelo, but I think his career was headed down. He basically had back to back bad loses to Martinez and Lara. It's not likely that his high volume style would've lasted much longer.

Recently someone uploaded to youtube Michael Walker against Korobov, I remembered Walker for the draw against Echols, I went to see his record in boxrec and I see that he had died at 35 while being active,he was shot and killed during the course of a robbery.
    coincidences ...

We had a journeyman heavyweight here locally named Clyde Mudgett in Indianapolis in the late 70's who was drinking at a bar next to a meat packing plant and decided to go down the chimney and snag some steaks for the holidays. Ended up getting stuck halfway down the chimney, which was actually some sort of exhaust for a furnace, and they found him days later mummified from the heat and fire with evidence that he had tried to claw his way free before dying.

Sadly, This one perhaps gets the award for strangest:
“On May 26, 1977, Everett was shot and killed by his girlfriend, Carolyn McKendrick, after she came home and found him with a transvestite named Tyrone Price.”

Tyson was nearly killed in a motorcycle accident. Luckily for him, he was going very slowly on his bike. He still broke a bunch of bones and was hospitalized for a awhile.

Yes. He was relatively young at 52. He didn't reach his 80s or 90s like say Archie Moore or Jake LaMotta
