Belly created this mess with his cowardice and ducking. He should've fought Usyk after their respective semi-finals against The Dosser and AJ. Or even after Usyk vs AJ I because he was offered it back then and declined even though AJ agreed to step aside.

So Usyk vs Belly should've happened in early 2002 or mid to late at worst. But that bum fought Whyte and Chisora instead and now he's fighting Frankenstein's monster who is making his pro debut at 37 y/o.

But yeah, I'd like to see Hrgovic paid some step aside money

Parker on this list makes no sense. Would have Joyce on there ahead of Bakole.

    Didn't expect anything concise.

#3 Dosser, obviously. But at that point the entire boxing world has to keep telling itself Wilder was a legit champion, and not a protected glass cannon (albeit top notch one.)

#5 Joseph Parker was irrelevant for a long time, becoming a fringe contender having fan-friendly fights against gatekeepers, B-level fighters, and rising stars. I can see him being held in something of an esteem based on past merit, but on the same basis you would have to keep Andy Ruiz in. I could see him closing the top ten above Sanchez and Bakole based on some outlook: I love both guys, but they either did not fight, or fought stay busy opposition recently, just like Parker did while having his prime years as a leverage in this comparison.

#6 Filip Hrgovic is either one spot below, or one spot above Zhang. Interchangeable. Barring the Joyce wins, and the Zhang/McKean bouts, they are both lacking in term of scalps. Hrgovic beat Zhang so there is it though.

#7 Jared Anderon. USA was and in the memory of making will remain the Mecca of boxing, but shoving hypejobs and extremely preferential treatment of American fighters does nothing to bring the glory back. I would give him a slack if he had the Ajagba fight scheduled, but it's actually Efe who is working his arse off the revive his career. Awful.

#8 Joe Joyce. Drop him below Parker and Anderson because he lost to Zhang? Rough.

#9 Frank Sanchez. Reputation build solely on looking great against Ajagba at that point. Is clearly having hiccups with Reynoso, dropped level of opposition, and it's a question mark whether all those mexican improvements actually click at some point, or did he sell his Cuban soul for nothing.

#10 Martin Bakole. Inactive and only really has Yoka win (which ironically might be a worse additionion that Makhmudov beating '22 Takam.) Screams: help me sell the Fury-Ngannou undercard.

At the end of the day you have to compose the top 10 out of fighters, and it's not like past the first two or three spots their resume are stacked, so it's all opinions. My only real issue is Anderson.

I'm guessing Wilder will be dropped next month from the rankings? It will be a year since he fought and he has nothing official lined up?

The Dosser is 1-2 in his last 3 fights, both losses sans one round via brutal one-sided KO or TKO in his own backyard where everything was stacked in his favour. AJ is 2-2 in his last 4, both losses on points to King Usyk, one of which in his backyard and one of his 2 wins was over the only guy The Dosser has beaten in three years

And he hasn't fought in a year whereas AJ has fought twice this year alone

Not to mention the fact that AJ has a way better resume than him anyway

J-Park is too high, Anderson being ranked #7 is ridiculous, Big Bang could easily be higher

    - Zhang should be behind Fury.
    - Why remove Ruiz ? Inactivity ? So what is Wilder doing here?
    - Parker and Anderson too high.

This list actually shows how good Joshua is.
    He's beaten Zhang, Joyce, Parker.
Fury and Wilder ducked him because he's better.
And he did better against Usyk than anyone ever, almost winning the rematch, and he would have won too if he'd started boxing earlier instead of being a drug dealer.

Wilder 514 weeks on the list. By the end of the year - that's 10 years.

That's a point - why is Wallin not on there when he's more proven than others on there?

He beat Zhang in Olympic, Tony Yoka beat both Joyce and Hrgovic in Olympic. Where is he now?

So Hrgovic should do something that no contender did in the last decade?

Honestly, Wilder should be dropped next month, Anderson & Parker too high, and probably 3 spots should just be vacant to reflect the horrible inactivity of the division.
