i got wondering after watching bell vs mormeck 1,)which was a great fight btw)but the last shot that bell lands is a right hand right on the back of mormecks head when he's nearly on his knees, its the worst rabbit punch ive ever seen vivian harris vs carlos maussa.he knock down harris then follows up with another shot when he's lying down. any historical examples of other mega fouls?
Sam Peter in every fight he has. I think it was after the Klitschko fight he had a tune up against the 7'1 journeyman Julius Long, and I thought, 'there's no way he can rabbit punch this guy.' he did.
Marciano hitting the kneeing Walcott was an evil foul as was the punch of Dempsey which led to Sharkey´s loss.
Hatton against Tyszu was a terrible power hook to the balls, Cotto-Judah was a bad low blow and a get out of jail free card, Tito-Vargas - Ricans love low blows, Golotta-Bowe - illegal punches of the decade Benn used allot of heavy rabbit punches against McCellan and this may have brought on GMANs condition. Lennox/Bruno used allot of rabbit punches
the old golota low blow combination, good pick on bruno too, imagine peter vs bruno, they'd both be looking for their opponents brain stem
Not an illegal punch but definitely strange; when Duran first knocked down Esteban De Jesus in their third fight.
is the double punch legal? are you allowed to punch your opponent on the top of the head if he leans forward?
G-man was injured in the first Jackson fight. Benn had only hit him with 2 rabbit punches at the end of round 2 when the gman complained in his corner at the end of the 4th of headaches., the gumshield was already pertruding at the middle of the second round. The accidenatal headbutt in the 9th round was the straw that broke the camels back.
During one part of the Holmes-Shavers rematch, Holmes had Shavers on the ropes and was unloading. At one point, Holmes hit him with both gloves like he was swinging a baseball bat. Also, Botha's "clap" punch on Tyson. Samer Peter later did this to James Toney in the first fight, getting a point deducted.
Although technically a legal punch (at least according to Cortez and Tomas Molinares' family) the ending to Starling/Molinares is always a good view, if a little weird.
George Lablanche's "pivot blow",missing a hook, and coming back with a backhanded clenched fist.Max Baer was prone to using this.
