You said what I was trying to say with my moral conscience comment, a lot better than I did. I think at his worst George Foreman had some semblance of a conscience. I doubt that Sonny Liston at his worst did.

    I'm there, dude :aaaaa:

George said Liston intimidated him more than ANYone else. Huge street advantage. George certainly doesn't lose easy, but would probably get lumped up too much to continue.

I don't know ... we all have heard how nasty Liston was but Foreman was a brutal force as well pre-job corps .. two monsters ...

Sonny Liston was a Debt Collector for the underworld, he broke many a bone in his heyday.

I take prime Lynda Carter over both Gal Gadot and Lindsay Wagner. As Wonder Woman creator, psychologist William Moulton Marston conceived her, Wonder Woman had giant boobs, was hyper submissive and REALLY liked being tied up. So screw Gadot's woman empowerment shtick. Lynda Carter got tied up frequently and remains hotter at 71 than Jane Seymore (also excellent in bondage as Solitaire in Live and Let Die).

Both men were quitters...the first one to taste his own blood gives up!!! When did Sonny become invincible? Been following boxing closely since the first Ali-Liston fight in Miami in Feb.1964...met Liston in 1964 when he was training for the Ali rematch...he was never thought of like he is by people on the site!

What absolute crap ! Liston fought several rounds against Marty Marshall with a broken jaw, when Liston
was having only his eighth fight.Against Cleveland Williams,Sonny kept his nerve and eventually defeated
Williams despite suffering a broken nose.
As for George Foreman, for crying out loud, did you see his fight with Ron Lyle ? Did you see Foreman's
fights with Alex Stewart or Evander Holyfield ? This is a serious question.
To label either of these men as '' quitters '' is totally dumb.

I would never impugn the legend Lynda Carter.

Her funbags really put the Wonder into the Woman. Not so well hidden WMDs in their own right.

But all versions of Wonder Woman carried with them their lassos and bracelets of submission - which weren’t just for decoration nor always used only for work related purposes. I would happily yield.

Lindsay Wagner was a sweet looking gal but never tickled that “Hot AF” nerve in me…The Mighty Isis did though…if you remember that gorgeous lady….

RIP JoAnna Cameron, 1948 - 2021. Agree about Lindsay Wagner, still looking good at 73, but JoAnna Cameron was gorgeous circa 1972 in her early 20's.

It was sad to read of JoAnna’s passing. From all accounts, a very nice lady.

Working for a decade as a home health care nurse certainly speaks well of her character. I have some HHC nurses as well, and they're the best. (I need them after undergoing back surgery.)

She left acting at just 32, then enjoyed a very productive majority of life. That eases the sting a bit from her fatal stroke. Still, she died 20 years short of where my still physically healthy father is now. (Nobody who still feels good should die until well after turning 90 in this era.)

I label Foreman a quitter because of the very poor way he reacted after Ali (two year hiatus), Jimmy Young (ten year hiatus) and Briggs (retired after a bout he should have been given the decision for).

Liston soldiered on after jail in 1957, Lewiston and Leotis, then won his final bout, for which Wepner said he was a far harder puncher than Foreman. Sonny's label as a quitter stems from being the second HW Champion to cede his title on a stool after Willard (where Jess courageously carried on for two complete rounds after getting blasted in the opening stanza) and Lewiston (the only opening round stoppage win of Ali's prime, although he probably could have repeated that with Dunn.)

Don't even bother with this guy. Has repeated the same falsehood like a robot time and time again despite being provided countless examples to disprove it.

    Very boring and generic poster.

You are certainly different, to say the least.
