Fedor Emelianenko’s icy demeanor is legendary and his incredible 28 fight winning streak saw him defeat some of the best in the world including Pride OWGP champion Mirko Cro Cop, UFC and Pride Heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and UFC and M1 European Heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.

The UK’s No1 Welterweight, Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley, will meet one of MMA’s hottest prospects in Tyron Woodley, in an elimination bout that will decide who will fight for the vacant Strikeforce title.

In one of the greatest rounds ever in MMA; Paul Daley left it all on the line against Nick Diaz and was stopped with only seconds left after depositing the champion face first on the canvas earlier in the round.

Tyron Woodley, however, is no easy task for any Welterweight and the wrestling powerhouse has destroyed six of his eight opponents within the distance on the way to a perfect 8-0 record.

The combination of Daley’s 20 KO’s to Woodley’s 75% finishing ratio is sure to lead to explosive results. Ensure you do what you need to do before this fight starts because either man could end this one in a heartbeat.

Coenen meets Tate in Historical Welterweight Championship Bout
For the first time under the Zuffa umbrella; two women will step into the Strikeforce cage for a title, as Miesha Tate challenges the current Strikeforce Welterweight champion Marloes Coenen.

Many are touting this bout as a harbinger for things to come in the UFC and both Coenen and Tate will not want to leave anything to chance in this potentially epic encounter.

The pedigree of these two fighters speaks volumes as Coenen is currently ranked number 1 in the women’s Welterweight division with a record of 19-4-0 while Tate is currently ranked at number 5 with a record of 11-2-0.

This meeting was set to take place earlier in the year but a knee injury to Tate not only prolonged the inevitable fireworks but also fueled the growing tension between the two fighters and both will look to walk out with the gold on July 30th

Smith vs. Saffiedine Battle for Contendership
This fantastic event will also see another Welterweight war between knockout artist Scott Smith and submission specialist Tarec Saffiedine, with the winner looking likely to face Daley or Woodley for the Welterweight title.

The card is also bolstered by fan favorite and former US soldier Tim Kennedy as he takes on “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler in an incendiary Middleweight bout.
