    You're right it is funny.

Tell me...other than Big Foot struggling against some random light heavyweight that was called at the last minute or Bobby Lashley losing to some jobber...can you actually name me one major heavyweight that has actually taken place in Strikeforce in the second half of 2010?

Because where I'm standing, their champion Alistair Overeem has defended his belt once in three years and would rather fight in Japan than San Jose. Their biggest star Fedpr is locked in contract talks because the promotion isn't doing well enough to put on the pay per view they promised he'd headline in the original deal. Their breakout star Werdum seems oddly relunctant to fight for the title and risk getting trapped by the champions clause. Their marque signing Josh Barnett can't even get licensed in the US because he keeps messing California around after numerous drugs test failures. So few are the pickings in this great, wonderful Strikeforce heavyweight division that Rogers had to drop down to the indies to get a fight and Arlovski was going to fight K-1.

But hey don't let the facts get in the way...the Strikeforce heavyweight division is ****ing awesome....on EA Sports MMA which is the only place you can actually get them to fight each other.

I never said I didn't think Barnett was shot. Nor did I disagree that Cro Cop is shot.

And the point was clear and simple. Some idiot said that the UFC couldn't match the tournament field. Actually they can and with relative ease. That's it. If you can't follow somebody actually bringing in evidence to back up their argument then too bad.

    Your Kiddin right ?

Please I don't want to ever see CC in a fight again....I think he was great back in the days but I think we can all agree that he is past it.

    Roy Nelson ? Really ?

And Nog is kinda the same as CC. Maybe he has 1 or 2 other fight left...but he is way past it him too.

Its directly refuting your points. Nice to see you're once again failing to back up when challenged.

No YOU think they can. The majority here disagree with you. The general consensus amongst MMA scribes is SF has the deeper and more experienced division. If you want to disagree with that fine. You're the minority so your free to believe whatever you like.

Keep up. You're making yourself look like a UFC joy boy. Oh wait a minute.....

Cro Cop...tbh I'd rather not see him. But if the UFC did a tournament I'd imagine he'd be the type of guy that get chucked in to job to one of the favourites. I'm sure Strikeforce and Dream would do the same if he was available.

Don't get what's wrong with Nelson. Good jiu-jitsu, decent takedown defense and fair boxing. Tough as hell too. Would walk into the Strikeforce GP.

Nog is certainly not the fighter he is but I dunno....he looked so good against Cro Cop and Sylvia that I think he has something left. But time will tell. Can't say he isn't shot with any certainity.

Sherdog has six UFC fighters in their heavyweight top ten
MMA Weekly has six UFC fighters in their heavyweight top ten
MMA Fanhouse has six UFC fighters in their heavyweight top ten (four in top five)

Shall I go on or do you want me to just go by on your imagination?

    Let me get this straight:

Someone says the UFC can't match Strikeforce's list

I put together an alternative UFC list to show that's not the case

You argue the list...well attempt to.

I rebut your points...we have back and forth

Until you chicken out and start saying what we've discussing is irrelevant

    Hmmm....okay.

So you don't think Strikeforce wouldn't welcome Nelson into the GP with open arms?

I don't think so, since he is with the UFC !;)

But if you are asking if Nelson wasn't with the UFC and was in fact with SF, I guess he would be in, since he is a HW fighter.

But I think the real question was more something like that: Would I take Nelson over any fighter HW in SF to win the GP.

Maybe, I would do a fight between Rogers and Nelson and the winner get in the GP.

This is what I think about Roy Nelson.

I honestly would take Tim Sylvia over him any day !
