Hi All, I hope you are all excited about the start of the World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament tonight. I thought we'd just start a thread in case anyone has any questions or needs any help. If you could post here and we will check in regularly and help out. Couple of things, your viewing card must be in the box and you box switched on at the point you order if watching on Sky. The signals are quick and if your card is not in the box you will miss them If you need any help the customers services team can be reached direclty on 08448429844 If you have a blue screen when the event starts unplug your box from the wall for 1 minute then plug back in and reboot If you are watching online you can find a contact form at the bottom of the home page to contact us for support, we will try and respond immediately where possible. Anything else post here and we'll try and help Thanks and enjoy!
Hi, I work for Primetime. You may have seen me posting in the Brit forum on our previous boxing events. Any questions let me know
Primetime ch 480 on sky or online at www.primetimelive.co.uk unfortunately Virgin didn't take this event, we are hoping they will pick up the rest of the tournament as we have had some of our events available on 'On Demand' previously
Strikeforce determine which elements of the broadcast they make available for us, unfortunately we didn't have any say in the matter. We will be logging all of these comments to discuss with Strikeforce for the next and future events.
Awesome purchase by Primetime. What time will the event start and finish? Will we be able to sky plus it and watch it the next morning?
Hi the event starts at 3am and Strikeforce have advised they expect it to run for 2 1/2 hours. If you have registered with Primetime previously and have a phoneline connected to your box then you can record it with Sky+. If you are registering for the first time or do not have a phoneline connection we have to send a direct signal to your dish which does unfortunately block recording. The repeats are of the full broadcast and are shown at 8:15, 11:15, 14:15 and 17:15 daily for the 6 days following a live event. Repeats are included in you purchase
Its starting at 3am...Showtime has two and a half hours scheduled for it. Although I'd be astonished if they're able to make the five matches last that long even with all the bells and whistle they're adding (including a big japanese GP style opening). If you're registered and ordered a Primetime event before you can buy through sky box office and record. If you need to book through the telephone/website then you can't. However they repeat the event throughout the following week.
Iv been with Virgin since it was EnCom and NTL. Since these ****s have taken over the service has gone to the dogs.
