Strikeforce Ronda Rousey vs Meisha Tate discussion (there will be spoilers)

Now the word SICK get used alot in MMA of late..but the real deal is that Arm Bar was SICK!

 

Think that was a time where the Ref shouldv'e steped in but it's over

 

She was so close to getting another armbar in under a minute. Tate is tough as hell for waiting so long to tap the second time.

Rousey is the female Rickson.

Rousey is more explosive than any woman I've seen in the sport outside of Cyborg. That said, she has some holes to fill in her game. If not, Cyborg crushes her if they fight in the future.

 

That said, **** standup.

 

One of the holes she needs to fill. If she faced someone like Carano, and couldn't take her down quickly, she'd be ko'd within a round. There's only so many flush shots you can take, and she has no defense. Rousey only has 5 fights, so she has a lot of room for improvement. The problem is she is already a champion, and will have to face the best the sport has to offer.

 

If anyone gets close enough to her that she can initiate a clinch, they are going to be hitting the canvas. Her judo really is fantastic.

I legitimately wanted to see bone.

 

Seeing a beautiful womens arm broken didn't tickle my taste buds. I'm addicted to combat but that was brutal. Couldn't believe her arm didn't break in the first one, there was massive pull and hyper extension. The second one I think it was broken prior to the step in. It looked like it snapped back but its only when it was twisted to the side you could see it was broke.

I don't know if there is a solution to this. Some people have massive hyper extension in their elbow and can work an escape while being pulled. Dan Hardys arm was pulled massively by St Pierre but while it was hyper extended he was working an escape.

 

Ronda Rousey is too angry to be a woman. She is fit but there is a dick down there. Same as Cyborg...

...but I still would!

 

You would've seen plenty if you'd been around me when I watched that arm snap.
