You trying to tell me that light flyweights one-shot KO each other more often than light-heavyweights?

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the weight divisions. It's not like they can run an openweight women's UFC division, but they won't have enough of a talent pool to run several divisions any time in the forseeable future.

Guess they'll have to pretty much put Ronda in feature bouts until another few marketable fighters show up. :conf

I will laugh until my rectum prolapses if Ronda loses her first UFC fight.

That would be very amusing indeed. Maybe not quite "Reality show winner beats up and chokes out UFC debutant Shogun Rua" amusing, but certainly right up there. :good

Ronda does seem pretty cool though. She's damned good in the cage, she's sexy, and outside of the cage she came up with one of my all-time favourite celeb text messages out of anybody.

That guy had the last laugh as he ****ed Ronda and didn't have to out up with her afterwards.

Quality fighter but very annoying personality IMO. I'm praying she loses her first UFC fight and I'm an atheist ;)

This is going to look very very bad for the UFC in the long run. Ronda is going to make them a lot of money until then though, she is a superstar that will easily get over to the average UFC fan. This girl is also really fun to watch.

I'm very excited for the Cyborg vs. Rousey fight. Hopefully it happens on the big July show next year.

Never seen Rousey fight. Hear alot about her on here so I'm curious. Can anyone suggest maybe a hat trick of her best fights that showcase her skills?:thumbsup

They all end by armbar in the first round, so take your pick.

Definitely watch the Tate fight, though.

You can watch her entire career in less than 10 minutes.

I'm a bit saddened by the news I've always enjoyed Strikeforce but TBH I don't think this is a Zuffa decision this is a Showtime decision and probably a lot to do with Stephen Espinoza.

No, this was a Zuffa decision. It'll be Espinoza's decision to continue with MMA or not. If not this will be great for showtime boxing because that MMA budget is going to boxing.

I loved Strikeforce too, but everyone saw this coming when Zuffa bought them out.

    Thanks fellas.

Just watched the Tate fight. Ooooohhhh, that arm looked in bad shape. Tate showed some serious grit to hold off for so long at the end there. The ladies may lake power and experience but they certainly showed some fighting spirit.

For me though not great viewing and I can't see the UFC putting on too much of that stuff, it's abit too....."messy" and uncontroled to my eye anyway.

Was that fight considered Rousey's best performance?

Why? Dana's always been against Womens MMA. But the reality is the UFC have little choice. If they want to stay on top they have to monetize anything they can get their hands on. Hence why they've re-introduced the lower weights and are now bringing on board womens MMA.
I'm not a big fan of womens MMA and i can't really see how it will help the brand long term, apart from capitalizing on Rouseys success.
Its just a dam shame to see what the UFC is doing to all these promotions.
