Strikeforce targets Fedor vs. "Bigfoot," Arlovski vs. Kharitonov for Feb. 12 event

Looks like they're hoping for a Fedor Reem final, which seems likely. This tournament has immense potential

 

Forgot about Rogers. He'll be used as fodder for Werdum unless he lands.

SF might give Reem Werdum as he is obviously frustrated by the lack of depth in the division and the lack of competition. He wants Fedor or Werdum, anyone less and you can see why he will keep fighting in Dream and K1 where he'll fight the best.

 

Reem calls the shots now. 3 belts and now widely regarded as just about the best there is

 

I expect him to get Werdum. He expects an elite MMA fight now.

Fedor likely to meet winner of Overeem and Werdum in the semi-final

 

They're just hoping to build the hype for the 'final' dude. Shoot their wads too soon if they matched Fedor with Reem or Werdum right away. I guess SF are hoping to build on the hype, it promo 01 really. Not the fight we want to see but makes sense in these terms I guess

 

Since you brought him up, Couture taking on Machida is a better fight than Fedor/Bigfoot. It's a joke. Did you see Silva's last fight? The guy is a scrub! He got throttled by a light heavyweight until his sheer size overcame his opponent. They should have started with Fedor vs Barnett. That would have set the entire series off to a colossal start!

 

Bigfoot Silva is the Tim Sylvia of Strikeforce. Strikeforce should bring in Tim to fight Bigfoot to the death. One less giant MMA scrub to worry about.

 

Honestly I'd love to see Tim in SF !
