Is Beerbohm brain damaged or something ? I think you would have to be in order to clinch with a guy like Shinya Aoki one of the best submission fighters in the sport. I figured it would be a wrap as soon as that happened as im sure we all did and we where right. Easy RNC victory for Aoki I hope to see more of Aoki in the United States.

I enjoyed the Jardine vs Mousasi fight and I agree with the decision. Mousasi cleary won rounds 2 and 3 but he was not even close to being dominant enough to deserve anything 10-8. I thought Jardine edged round 1 and with the point deduction it gives him a 10-8 round.

Melendez just keeps kicking asses. Kawajiri, Ishida, Aoki, Guida, Thomson whoever they put in front of him he beats and he gets better fight after fight. His striking looked outstanding in this fight and made Kawijiri look like a complete bum. I wanna see Melendez in there with the Maynard-Edgar III winner but I wont hold my breath.

Diaz and Daley was almost like a MMA Hearns-Hagler. Im so impressed with Diaz everything he does is so effective his jab, the body punching, the left hand, the pressure etc. His chin is just amazing that left hook dropped him on his face Scott Smith style I thought he was out but this kid survives and eventually lands that beautiful right hook to a delayed reaction and TKOs that little punk Daley. Who is left for Diaz in Strikeforce ?

Was he not still very wobbly when he sat on the stool 20 seconds after the stoppage?

Somewhat of a conservative stoppage but John knows what he is doing, in a way Daley wasn't really defending himself and looked hurt. Something hit him that either knocked his equilibrium off or he was just plain hurt. Despite Daley complaining why it was stopped to everyone, his body was saying something else.

Respect due to Paul Daley I thought he did extremely well and seemed to be close to knocking Diaz out on a couple of occasions.

That has got to be one of the most exciting five minutes I've seen for a long time. Paul really looked like he was in mix and handled himself very well. When you put on a good fight you never really lose in MMA

Nick Diaz on the other hand is becoming a real baddest man on the planet. he's obviously crazier than a shithouse rat. but there is something about his attitude that makes other fighters seem false or plastic personalities in comparison.

I respect his keep it real approach, he is like, this is what the audience want to see, I'm going to give it to them.
