http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/4163366/Why-are-you-judge-jury-n-executioner.html With this pathetic, bitchy letter. Chisora hasn't got a leg to stand on - he spat at someone and slapped someone and then started a brawl, the evidence is clear as anything, he deserves a ban lets be honest. Why would they really need to hear his case on it, theres nothing he could say to make those actions acceptable really. To use Tyson vs Lewis press conference, I mean that was nearly 10 years ago for **** sake. To use the Mayweather example seems odd, what he did was totally disgusting but it happened outside of boxing and all of Chisora's bad actions happened before, during and after the fight and plus he has been convicted of the same offence so why is he bringing it up. He needs to **** off moaning, man up and ****ing accept what Chisora did.
hes not though....why do the WBC need to hear Chisora's side because the evidence against him is so clear.
Stop crying, a little slap and spitting water is worth a slap on the wrist at most. Can't believe some of the limp wristed people we have on here moaning and chastising Chisora over basically nothing. It was out of line, no more no less, no major sins were committed by anybody other than haye if anyone at all.
Does anyone not just think this is typical ****** BS, what possibly can Chisora say in his defence to overturn a ban. Imagine if Haye had slapped Wlad at his weigh in, spat water on Vitali and started a brawl at the press conference after, ****** would be calling for a ban like this and you know it.
yeah sorry, he really didn't do anything wrong. Actually maybe Vitali should get done for putting his face in Chisoras hand at the weigh in.
Personally, what the WBC have done and continue to do is far more damaging to the sport than anything Chisora did before and during the fight. FW's letter is spot on
I'm not saying its right, I'm basically saying man the **** up. In the history of boxing this is absolutely minuscule as far as things that have happened. Slapping a guy on the face and spitting water? Jesus. He didn't smack the guy and **** on his unconscious body FFS. If anything a fine would suffice, if that. And no it does nothing bad for the sport either before that chestnut is dragged out.
Can't help but think if this whole thing happened on a big Vegas card we wouldn't still be discussing it. The fact it was on a Klitschko event in Germany where the atmosphere is different and the only element of hype is the ring entrances consisting of a big bell or either of the Klitschkos pouting into a camera.
Bit strange considering this thing happens almost annually in boxing. It wasn't right but the punishment is a bit extreme seeing as this has happened before and nothing has been done about it. Recent ones like B-Hop & Winky (The Tito thing went a bit far as well), Mayorga & Vargas (plus some of the verbal assaults he has done), Mab & Morales, Lewis & Tyson and who was the guy hit someone else after the bell? Can't remember punishments being handed out for those especially as extreme as what Chisora got. If it starts with Chisora fair enough but Sillyman won't keep this standard for everyone in my opinion. Especially if the fighter can make him money.
I can't imagine anything would have happened to Chisora for the slap and spitting. That sort of thing isn't uncommon in boxing and it's very rarely punished, certainly not to the degree of a ban. I think what bothered Sulaiman is the fight with Haye, which is strange considering he said this a short while ago... "As far as the WBC, our position is that was a problem between the two of them, and unless there is a legal issue, the WBC has nothing to do with that. That has absolutely nothing to do with boxing," The difference is, that was about Alvarez breaking Solis' jaw. The Mexican star had to be protected, right? Seeing as Haye is retired, this incident should have nothing to do with boxing as a sport. The WBC, BBBoC or any other organisation can't have any say because Haye was a boxer. They have no power over him or what he's involved in.
Jose can consider himself owned. The letter and his interview on Sky were spot on. The WBC are a bunch of crooked mother****ers.
