I do not care what excuses he has even if he has legitimate claims. A 3rd delay for a fight of this magnitude may be unprecedented. He is not only wasting time (Usyk could be fighting other people) and money (people need to promote this ****, rent venues, sell tickets, etc), he is potentially making the fight worse. Fighters and athletes in general do not remain in their "peak condition" all year round. You can only be in peak condition for a few days, maybe a week or two at most. It's a very taxing thing mentally, physically, and emotionally training your ass off, sparring, sticking to a strict diet, etc. Usyk is probably extremely irritated and on edge getting to his peak condition only to hear the fight is being delayed yet again. Again, I do NOT CARE if he has a valid excuse or not. If Fury (or any champion) pulls out 3x in a row they need to lose their belt. It's bad for business, bad for boxing, and wasted everyone's time. Usyk should either have to fight the WBC #1 contender for the vacant belt or be given the belt.
Fury already pull out of the fight more than 3 time. Do you forget he faked a camp last year, just his own trainer to come out and say he never even start training, let alone be in a camp. This is already the 3rd time he pulled out of the fight. WBC won't ever strip him, as they are corrupt as Fury and Warren are. But Usyk needs to move on. It will be a huge mistake to waste more time and give all the advantages in the world to this known fraud. Exactly. It will essentially destroy Fury career for good. Usyk won't ever get Undisputed. IBF will strip him anyway now.
They will never strip Fury because the WBC make so much money off him - 3% of his purses if i recall correctly. If Fury ever became undisputed he would probably drop all the belts or face AJ and just retire.
Strip him now,,,who wouldn't want Usyk to fight say Zhang for the belts? Let the lumbering oaf Fury stay at home and continue his march into irrelevancy.
Strip his belts and only offer him 30/70 take it or leave it. He's a fat waster and is messing up Usyk's career. Better just to freeze him out at this point. He's clearly lost it as he struggled against Ngannou and is afraid of getting humiliated by Usyk.
Fury’s been given too many chances and yet he continues to disgrace himself. Strip that big ogre of his belts already. He’s making the heavyweight division look worse than it already has been.
The whole of boxing should just shut him out that includes any future commentary or pundit jobs. He's made his dough so lets just forget about him. I was a fan but in the last couple of years I just want to see the back of him.
I'd strip him now, he's terrible for the sport of Boxing. He's been calling Usyk a middleweight for years and has said it would be sucj an easy fight, but is terrified to step into the ring with him. How many more injuries and delays are we the fans going to get until Fury finally grows a pair and fights this Middleweight?
