Strip Usyk of his belts. He’s too inactive.

He’s not going to make that money NOW against a similar level opponent.

His reputation has taken a huge hit.

    Everywhere.

    The point is:

Only an AJ fight and a Usyk fight in boxing, make him huge money, where Wembley is sold out and the PPV’s are huge.

The only other fights would be an MMA crossover fight or something.

It’s now doubtful that he would do that, as he’s lost a lot of fans.

Even if he did, the PPV numbers would be low.

Again, only Usyk and AJ would both sell out Wembley AND do great PPV.

When we remember the last months usyk did not care about dubois even for a second. No negotations , no word from both fighters , nothing.
Even a deadline set by wba to agree ( i think in april ? ) was passed by usyk without any notice .

Then wba announced wilder will be next mandatory opponent in this case. After this announcement from WBA team usyk agreed to a dubois fight nearly immediately .

It is pretty obvious for me usyk preferred NOT to face wilder

The problem is it isn't only him, but the bigger part of the Pussyk and anti-Fury squads.

That all was a big mess , i agree.

Usyk knew that against a mentally and physically fit fury his chances to win are slim .

Fury knew this too and in his arrogant way he called out usyk on short notice as a pure bluff believing that usyk never agrees to a 70:30 and he can blame usyk . He was completely unprepared to really fight when he called out usyk .

It backfired for fury badly because usyk realized fury is not in any training camp but in beer bars and agreed suddenly .he would never get a better chance to beat fury since fury was not in shape .

Now fury was in big trouble because facing usyk physically completely unprepared might result fury looses this fight - usyk is not an easy bum .

Fury then tried to sabotage this fight by demanding impossible things , paying with much of his reputation finally.

I never said that he did big numbers.

I said that Fury needs him to do big PPV, as Fury’s big fights are now very limited.

There’s only a select few guys who can create huge interest.

    No, his stock isn’t rising.

    It’s falling.

    I’m lost?

    I said NOW.

I even capitalised the word for you.

How can six months AGO, be the same as NOW?

Tyson has lost a lot of fans.

He’s being criticised on an almost daily basis in the media.

By sports writers and fighters etc.

His reputation in the past 6 months has taken a huge hit.

If you don’t know that, then you don’t know anything.

He’d been trying to negotiate with Fury since late last year.

The Dubois fight was shelved in the hope that they’d be able to reach a compromise.

When all talks broke down, the wheels were put in motion to fight Dubois, to get it out of the way.

When has Wilder or his team tried to make a fight with Usyk?

Usyk has been mulling over various opponents, and has recently talked about fighting Ruiz.

There is no evidence that Usyk has ducked Wilder.

You are completely biased and delusional.

Nobody in Usyk’s position was accepting that split.

Tyson is the only one who’s made a fool of himself.

I’ve never seen a guy’s credibility drop so fast.

He was under appreciated for years.

He then turned it around and garnered so much respect and credibility in his 3 fights with Wilder.

Yet all that respect and credibility is now in tatters, where fans have left him and he’s getting criticised from pillow to post in the media on an almost daily basis.

He’s a walking contradiction who many people have lost patience with.

    What are you talking about?

Have you even read the article in its entirety?

It literally says that Wilder’s team would be interested in a POSSIBLE fight, IF the Dubois fight fell through.

Why would Usyk’s team have negotiated with Wilder’s team, when they’re still trying to secure the fight with Dubois?

The Dubois fight recently had to be pushed back.

The fight should be happening imminently though.

There is no proof of anybody ducking.

The article says absolutely nothing of substance.

It was just an option if things didn’t plan out.

I can show you links where his same team have also been interested in fighting Ruiz.

    They’re nothing more than options.

There’s nothing there to see or debate.

Just the usual outlook from any fighter’s management team.
