He was dropped by Mcgee but not hurt. Lazcano didnt drop Hatton but had him hurt BAD several times.

I didnt say anything about floyd ruining Hatton's chin, I dont even believe in that bull****. But in all one on one sports Confidence is huge, it comes right after talent in a list of things that one must have to be good.

Hatton was getting a beating from floyd before being knocked out. This is a fact. Watch how many times hatton head got snapped back from straight right hands.:D

I agree that losing your 0 can take away from your confidence. But it doesn't always work that way, sometimes it helps you and brings you back to earth. Hattons' performance against Lazcano where he was hurt, this is what people use to say Hatton's confidence was low? (Collazo gave him trouble too).

How does anyone know and how can you accurately gauge Hatton's confidence level vs Pac, it's really not possible which is why I don't take those excuses seriously. I also don't think Floyd laid any kind of blueprint, he fights too differently from others and does things in his own way, not easy to replicate. Pac did it his own way.

Look man stop crying already. Go talk about Floyd's PPV sales or something. Get over it, being called "Ellerbe" is no big deal, you get to rub Floyd's chest and talk about his money, your dream job. I've gone way off topic talking to you, so I'm just not gonna bother anymore. :hi: Now I expect you to copy paste what I said like you usually do.

First I should say that Im sorry for calling you a moron, you have never be anything but respectful towards me and I should return the favor...

But I never said anything about a blueprint. All im saying is that the hatton that fought Floyd wasnt as confident as the one that fought pac. I also dont think that Hatton was as strong at 140 as he was at 147. Hatton has to cut alot of weight between fights and that is never a good thing, as such the more you cut the weaker that you become..None of that would have changed the outcome of the fight with Pac, because Hatton thought that he would just walk though Manny winging wide shots and thinking that Pac couldnt hurt him. His KO lost came from a bad gameplan and a lack of respect for Manny. It reminds me of joppy vs Tito many years ago when after the fight Joppy said, I didnt respect his power, I didnt think that he could hurt me...I bet you money that somewere along the lines hatton has made that very comment to someone close to him.

Of course any fighter will be stronger in the absolute sense the heavier he is allowed to weigh in. If you can pull x pounds with y muscle mass, theoretically you can pull x+a pounds with y+b muscle (not fatty) mass.

The question here is which weight would be optimal for a fighter? Hatton had been a junior lightweight for most of his career, the fact that he was the lineal champ probably means he was most effective at the weight. We should look at his strength relative to the weight class he fights in, simplistically: his strength of x pounds hitting guys at 140lbs has way more damaging effect compared to his strength of x+a pounds hitting 147lb guys.

Of course it isn't just his strength we should look at, but the entire package and at the end of the day, his forays into 147 resulted in a shaky decision win in which he almost got knocked out and finally a knockout loss.

A final word here. It wasn't the Hatton camp that insisted on a weight limit of 147 but Floyd. Hatton and his camp knew, along with probably the whole wide world that he was optimal at 140. If there was anyone between Floyd and Hatton who benefited from the limit of 147 it was none other than Floyd, make no mistake about it, no, more importantly, make no false impressions about it.

Without an absolute shred of doubt it's Floyd. Listen up and let me peep game to you. Floyd was the smaller man and underdog in these fights. Not only did he dominate his last 5 opponents, but he single handidly brought boxing into the mainstream. And as long as Money May is around boxing will continue to live on through mainstream media.

Well, Floyd beat two welterweight champions in Judah and Baldomir so I gotta give it to Floyd.

Are you telling me Floyd was the underdog and the smaller man against:
    Sharmba Mitchell
    Zab judah
    Juan Manuel Marquez

Against Carlos Baldomir he was the smaller man but no way in hell was Floyd the underdog.

In fact the only fight where he probably was the smaller guy and the underdog was against dela Hoya, and that's because I can't recall the official odds for that fight.

And quit talking about the mainstream blabber when it doesn't relate with the topic at hand, are you his PR guy?
