He’s a Russian citizen, still lives there an dont seem too bothered when everyone in boxing refers to him as being Russian.

Kinda weird though that both him an ggg have Korean mothers.

? GGG Has no Kazakh heritage! Lol! His pops is Russian and his Ma is Korean.

GGG was born and lived in the Soviet Union for 11yrs when the Soviet Union only recognized nationalities and he is Russian and Korean not Kazakh.

Just because GGG identifies as a Kazakh doesent make him one.

But he has literally 0 Kazakh heritage to be proud of, what's the point of making up lies about his heritage?

Sounds like your upset I stole your annual prize. Next time Ill try to be less dumb so you can win. Lol! My point is obvious especially if you read the other 2 quotes.
GGG is Russian and Korean. Kazakh people have their own lineage and GGG is not that!

This may shock you, but Russia and former USSR countries are multi ethnic.

What does that have to do with heritage?

Not relevant whatsoever. Golovkin has 0 Kazakh heritage. None. He has a Russian father and half Russian half Korean mother. He was born in the USSR to a father from Russia and a mother from Korea.

It's like saying Wlad has Kazakh heritage because he was born there, or Vitali has Kyrgyz heritage because he was born there.

Exactly lol. Plus his smug irrelevant question looks even more absurd as many posters here know I am Russian.

So if my father is Russian, my mother is Korean, and I'm born and raised in the USA, then I'm not American?

This has literally nothing at all to do with Golovkin's heritage.

Also, Kazakh is not a national term, but an ethnic term. Russians who are citizens of Kazakhstan are not known as Kazakhs. CIS nations generally don't follow western demonym logic

It has everything to do with your supposed use of logic.

No it doesn't, for one, read my edit above, and for two, no, it really doesn't.

His parents weren't born in Kazakhstan and have no ancestors from Kazakhstan. Therefore even if he was considered Kazakh (and he isn't), he would have no Kazakh heritage.
