Fine. As of Friday he was yet to even debut in the pros so I wasn't going to include him strictly because of his amateur reputation.

...but yeah, given his success with Shibata it's probably not a stretch to say he beats Fuchigami and Ishida...with ease. :good

Light middleweight - #1 Mexico (Alvarez, Molina, Angulo), #2 USA (Trout, Smith, 3rd spot up for grabs between either Charlo brother or the winner of Martirosyan vs. Andrade), #3 Puerto Rico (Cotto, J. Gonzalez, Flores) #4 UK (Rose, Godding, Smith), #5 Argentina (Maciel, Pitto, Cuello), #6 Cuba (Lara, Jhonson, Fitz), #7 Germany (Culcay, Torosyan, Arik), #8 France (Horta, Soro, Vitu), #9 Ghana (Okine, Sai, Bruce), #10 Brazil (Teixeira, Ataide, Oliveira)

154 was hard. Lots of countries have a single guy in the top 15-20 but nobody else of note behind them, giving them absolutely no depth. (Belarus with Rabchenko, Russia with Baysangurov, Dominica with D-Rod, Poland with Jonak, etc)

    Cheers.

I figure it's a pretty good system, looking at the best three produced by each nation in each division. Not perfect but it serves. To be the "strongest country" there must be some depth - even if the division ruler is from there, if they don't have anybody else it can't be considered strongest. :good

Then in ranking them I sort of average out all three guys and go from there. So if you have one elite and then a pair of so-so compatriots, that country might wind up ranked behind another with three very solid contenders even though any of them would lose to said elite.

Yeah, originally they were put down the other way around with me thinking it over a while before changing it...but I project he'll go further.

Gavin hasn't been nearly decapitated by Carson Jones to my knowledge. :yep The version of Vassell he beat I think would be a danger to Brook.

A lot of times my ordering skews a bit far toward perceived h2h clout rather than resume...that's just my preferred way of doing it...
